It’s my birthday so DH is treating us to a takeaway though I can’t decide on Chinese or Indian...
Hoping the dc finally give in to the idea its bed time pretty soon!

I cleaned the oven today and after that ordeal I’m not ready to risk anything actually being cooked in there.

Banh mi with crispy pork and pickled veg

DC had pizza - made their own (on bought pizza bases - no fancy twirling of pizza dough occured).

I've had nothing mostly out of laziness, not being that hungry and also as there's not a lot in. Shop to be done in the morning.

I'm getting hungry though now darn it! Will fantasy about takeaways if I look at this thread too much.

Sea bass with broccoli and roasted sweet potato. The sea bass was from Aldi and was delicious.

Cottage Pie and cauliflower / gravy and then 1.5 hr later, Christmas pudding !

Root veg crumble with spring greens. It was nicer than I expected (yes I did make it, we didn't have some of the ingredients I would have used).

The kids had pizza. H turned with friend and I did them paprika chicken - add a little stock and cream to make a sauce - rice and salad. I just picked on stuff from both - not healthy but hey ho.

Lamb shank for me , pork chop for dh
We were going to go food shopping but then I didn’t fancy going out and getting cold so we raided the freezer
