IShitGlitter · 30/01/2019 20:22

nope heating on and electric blanket on high so were toasty sorry an electric blanket is a game changer if you live in an old cold house like mine.

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 21:11

Heatings on but still cold. In bed though so hopefully won't last long

halfwitpicker · 30/01/2019 21:23

You need tea and a hot water bottle

Lwmommy · 30/01/2019 21:24

If you have any powdered mustard in the house, chuck a tablespoon of it into a bucket of warm water and soak your feet. Instant hot flush!

unicornsarereal1 · 30/01/2019 21:24

I second the electric blanket!

Currently sat in bed, heating on & electric blanket - nice and toasty but it's only -2 here atm

flatpackbox · 30/01/2019 21:28

I was cold last night, the house was warm but I couldn’t get warm. In the end I got up at 11:30 and put some fleece running tights and a top on and got back into bed.

I might invest in an electric blanket. My feet are always cold.

notangelinajolie · 30/01/2019 21:30

Hot water bottle and bed.

SneakyGremlins · 30/01/2019 21:31

Copious hot chocolate here!

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 21:31

LostInShoebiz · 30/01/2019 21:33

Why keep them if you won’t use them?

Lightsdown · 30/01/2019 21:33

There is a big going around - main symptom is you can't get warm. I know I few people who have had it.

Catonaroof · 30/01/2019 21:33

I'm perpetually too warm so last night my gf and I got a proper night's sleep - she was chilly and I was the human hot water bottle! 😂

Lightsdown · 30/01/2019 21:33

Bug not big!

caringcarer · 30/01/2019 21:36

Central heating on and a gas fire in lounge. I am sitting on sofa with a blanky over me and drinking hot tea. I shall be having electric blanket when we go to bed. I have been cold all day. Hope I am not going down with anything as sore throat too.

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 21:40

Lost i will try them out. They're Silent Night.

nicoala1 · 30/01/2019 21:57

Heated throw for the sofa

Electric blanket for the bed.

All great!

I do not understand why people will not buy electric throws or blankets. They cost pennies to run and are just amazing. But what do I know.

Yabbers · 30/01/2019 21:59

I’ve been freezing all day. Can’t get a heat on.

SneakyGremlins · 30/01/2019 21:59

@Lightsdown I didn't know that but it would explain a lot..

Sexnotgender · 30/01/2019 22:02

Had a bath and am in bed with my dressing gown, pyjamas and thermal socks on.

House is single glazed and high ceilings 😏 feeling quite warm just now.

nicoala1 · 30/01/2019 22:06

Just looked at my weather station it is 0.8C outdoors and 21.6 indoors, yet the heating has been off (timer) since 8.30pm. Can boost it but no need at the moment.

Have a heated underblanket, and believe me, the bliss of getting in to a warm bed is unreal. Really, and it can be timed to shut off after a few hours too. Best money I have ever spent.
