Need some inspiration on weekday dinners so I can make a list 😊
What are you/your family having tonight?

I've made a shepherds pie with veg and Yorkshire's 😋 can't wait to tuck in.

Hot chocolate and toast because it's what I fancy.

Cod with a chorizo, pepper and tomato sauce/veg dish

Ready meal shepherds pie for me and DH. Macaroni cheese for the dds. We've all been ill this week and it's our first normal day. Suffering from an extreme case of the Can't Be Arseds.

Spag bol & garlic bread, followed by rhubarb, apple & blackberry crumble and custard. Using up all sorts from the freezer so HM (just not today!).

Love this thread idea!
I'm feeling really sleepy tonight so I'm probably going to do some tortellini fresh pastas with sauce and veg.

Simple & quick- then a nice shower and pj's for me!Grin

Hardcore dieting at the moment sad face so I’m making a low fat carbonara with fat free yoghurt.

Dessert will be poached pears with fat free yogurt, half a tsp for honey and some blueberries scattered atop.

I am Ill with a shitty bad cold/chest infection thing and I had hot and sour soup. The chillies seem to have blown a path through the snot. Hooray.

The DCs had porridge and fruit for dinner.

@MysweetAudrina Wow! Sounds delicious- and banana bread😍 your family are eating good tonight!
Will you have some when you're back from yoga?

bibbitybobbityyhat · 01/02/2019 19:44

My all-time favourite ever "nursery tea" which I get once a year if that - sausage, mash and baked beans.

thatsmyspace · 01/02/2019 19:47

@bibbitybobbityyhat my all time favourite dinner is sausage mash and beans 😋

Chicken salad. Nom.

halfwitpicker · 01/02/2019 19:49

With wine of course. Then I'll watch the Ted Bundy doc again on Netflix.

Mitsouko67 · 01/02/2019 20:02

Gnocchi and a pork chilli.

MysweetAudrina · 02/02/2019 09:33

@anxiousbundle I had a big slice when i got in.
The banana bread ended up being more of a banana crumble as I tipped it out of the tin when I was getting it out of the oven and it kind of fell apart. It tasted nice but that look of a golden loaf was sadly missing.

Jellyonawonkyplate · 02/02/2019 09:34

Easy tonight..roast chicken, chips and salad
