What's everyone having for dinner/ tea tonight?

Need some inspiration on weekday dinners so I can make a list 😊
What are you/your family having tonight?

I've made a shepherds pie with veg and Yorkshire's 😋 can't wait to tuck in.

Tonight we are having Thai yellow veg curry with rice.
Easier than it sounds as I bought the curry paste.

Tonight I'm making fritto misto di mare & aïoli.

Coquilles St Jacques and petits pois.
Creme Caramel and oranges for pud.

Last night was sausage casserole with half a pack of sausages (also onion, swede, carrot & tomato in the sauce) with jacket spuds.

Tonight is other half of the sausages in a tomato & veg (tomato, onion, swede, carrot) sauce, with pasta, cheese grated on top to serve. Do you sense a theme here?

Tomorrow I have a rare night out but the others will have chicken burger, wedges & salad.

Duck breasts, roasted new potatoes and salad, followed by gu melt in the middle chocolate pudding

MaccyD's with a side of wine. Between kittens with a V&D bug, kids with migraines, people coming over later, not socially. . . that's all we're up to tonight. . .

It was supposed to be savoury lamb casserole with mash and veges. Oh well.

Grilled salmon with ratatouille and white beans

Chickens pieces browned and baked in a camembert, white wine and cream sauce. Served with potato wedges and creamed spinach.

Home made pizza ( red onion, mushroom, pepper, chilli for the topping)

Kids had a chicken and vegetable stir fry with lentil noodles (I know lentil noodles - who knew!).
DH and I having a butternut squash & sage risotto with a stock I made last night.

Tomorrow we are having beef stroganoff (it's a Tom Kerridge recipe that I haven't made before) and the kids will have butter chicken curry with popadoms (it's alllll about the poppadoms for them sadly).

I need to know if this leg of haddock is served with chips or potatoes and is it battered and fried or steamed @cookmysock1😂😂😂
Tonight's offering was Jaeger schnitzel and fries as I'm going to work later. The rest of the week will find my husband pan bashing for himself while I slumber on.😁

Breaded cod with new potatoes baked in olive oil and black pepper, peas and a glass of rose wine.

Tonight is chicken miso soup and noodles.
Chicken thighs, stock, brown miso, spring onions, smoked tofu, edemame beans, carrots, spinach. Noodles, obvs.
Meal.for one as everyone else is out tonight.

I neeeed an explanation to this fish leg!

I meal plan. This week is
Thursday- 5 a day tagine
Friday - Leek, potato and bacon bake
Saturday - Moroccan sausage stew
Sunday - chicken something not decided
Monday is takeaway for birthday treat
Tuesday - Minced beef and sweet potato stew
Wednesday - soup of some sort

BBQ jackfruit with salad and butternut squash chips 😋

Butternut&spinach coconut curry. Been making it for years, it’s always a favourite.

Chicken in a white wine sauce, leeks, mushrooms and baby potatoes with broccoli.

I normally meal plan but we've been away this week, so tonight we've got hunters gammon and carrot and swede mash from Aldi

Malaysian spicy chicken soup with rice noodles - perfect for this weather.

Racheyg Are you vegan? Bbq jackfruit is quite a infamous vegan food.

Mominatrix How do you make rhe Malaysian soup? We have vaguely similar dinners for tonight.

@ABigBraclet no I'm not but dh is veggie and i made it for vegan friends a few times. I could easily take or leave red meat. But I love chicken.

I needed to go shopping, today, but weather happened, I had the boys home from school (one closed, the other long journey abandoned because of the traffic) so only made it to the local shops. So it's been a case of defrost the last of the Christmas turkey, chop up a pepper and open a jar of "balti" sauce.

It went down pleasantly enough.

Tuna sweetcorn jacket potatoes and sticky toffee pudding for desert.
Tomorrow is plaice with rice and broccoli.
Sunday is roast pork dinner.

Made a lasagne earlier which dh and ds can stick in the oven while I go to yoga. Dd is away and doesn't like lasagne but ds loves it.

Also made some banana bread as there were loads of overripe bananas in the fruit bowl.
