What apps have changed your life?

I've finally replaced my ancient crappy phone that would cause apps to crash with a cheap but nice new android Smile

I'm currently rediscovering the world of apps but I'm overwhelmed by so much being available. What apps do you love or have changed your life?

Clue period tracker. Really simple but has shown me clearly what my cycle looks like.

Deliveroo. Can order the kids' dinner from my desk while they're at home with the childminder.

I also use classic fm and "woman's log" for cycle tracking.

Apps I like:

  • Clue (period tracking)
  • Netflix (download, watch on the go)
  • WhatsApp
  • AirBrush (for when I'm covered in acne)
  • Pinterest

I've got a chronic pain management app called Pathways. It really has made a difference to my quality of life.

Colour by numbers

"Graphista - audible is fantastic and an app that changed my life!!! I often don’t sleep well and it has helped." I'm not a good sleeper either so hoped it'd be good for that but I'm struggling to get head round how it works.

I use Duolingo quite a bit as I like learning little bits of other languages
Sky Map which shows you where all the planets/starts are. It's great for pointing at the sky on holiday as it tells you what you are looking at.
Hue for controlling the lights
Spotify for music
Life360 so I can see where all the family are
KeePass to store all the passwords I would otherwise forget
Android Auto so my car can talk to the phone

Work log ( the one with a white clock on blue back ground )
I work irregular hours and can never remember what my start and finish times are by the end of the month , this app makes it easy to put the start and finish and any break times , it can be set up to tell you exactly how much you have earnt each day / week / month.

Ike - to do list based on the important/urgent matrix. (Someone on here recommended it. I love it).
Monzo - app based banking
Fertility Friend - again recommended by someone here for TTC. Had pro for a year, now I just interpret myself.
journey - journal app with photos, mood tracker, geo tagging.
RingGo to pay for parking
Calm for bedtime stories, guided relaxation tracks and breathing exercises.
Spotify for music
Google rewards - over 3 years I've earned £67. Not a lot, but it pays for a few app upgrades.

Euston Platforms app - tells me which platform my train will depart from long before it appears on the Info Board (and before I receive the notification txt from Virgin trains)
