To follow on from earlier post.
Banking app - not used for a while as i had trouble remembering the passwords but think I've sussed it now so will try again.
Period tracker - no longer using BUT that's because I don't need to! It enabled me to prove to my cpn that premenstrually my anxiety was MUCH worse and that led to her supporting me to ask GP to be able to take pill back to back and not have the damn things! I'm 46 and have endo too and frankly they're more trouble than they're worth! BUT as I write this I'm thinking I might track dds (with her permission) as she's been having problems with regularity lately. Might be useful to see if she's really irregular or cycle length has changed.
Sainsburys - online shopping, generally easy to use.
Amazon - I'm housebound plus we're rural and our high street has been DECIMATED! So things I can't get from (or are stupidly expensive at) sainsburys I get from here.
Music - iplayer, absolute radio (absolute 80's for me), heart
When I'm not housebound
National rail enquiries (more reliable for engineering works & delays)
Train line
Local taxi app
"Evernote. I have notebooks set up with different themes -eg I have one for my kids school which holds their endless letters, term dates, meal menus etc
I photo all my receipts and important paperwork and it's searchable in the app so easy to find"
I'd love to know more about this. I'm trying to be more organised but also a budding/wannabe/cowardly novelist and I'd like to work on my phone if inspiration hits. Notes app is ok but it's WAY to easy to accidentally delete!
Facebook - I'm an ex army brat and dads side all military so family & friends are scattered far and wide. Even several of my "civvy" friends are either expats or emigrants. So it's great for staying in touch and seeing their growing families etc FB gets derided but as anything it's HOW you use it. No drama queens on my friends list, I'm on a few political interest pages but they're closed groups so it's not clogging others feeds, I've 2 other friends who are as passionate about politics as me although we have VERY different allegiances! Which can be interesting, but we're respectful and its good to not have an echo chamber. I've only deleted one friend (an old classmate not that close) just prior to brexit vote who started posting Britain first bollocks and similar. And my sister who I'm nc with for reasons outside Facebook.
Twitter - is very good for consumer issues, I also follow some Celebs who are very good at being witty in 140 ch or less 😂 and I also like it for political stuff as again, no echo chamber get all sorts of opinions.
Mn - I came to the app by default when site wasn't working, wasn't keen at first now I love it.
I keep meaning to get into audible and have even started threads about it but I can't seem to get on with it.
