So my 4 year old has come home with a badger for the weekend and we now have to take pics and document the adventures we have. I am working nights all weekend and need suggestions please so I don't look like a terrible mother 😂

Looking for worms and snails in the garden?
Playing in the park?
Helping to Cook dinner
Reading a bedtime story.

TitsNnails · 25/01/2019 20:24

We had a toy snake. With instructions to sew up any holes found! We did swimming, trip to the park, cycling, and a picture of them snuggled up asleep together.

Make sure it's vaccinated against TB?

Hen2018 · 25/01/2019 20:27

They’re nocturnal so take it with you to work?

Hen2018 · 25/01/2019 20:27

Don’t take it to Gloucestershire in case it gets culled (sorry!)

Walnutwhipster · 25/01/2019 20:28

Apparently it's very nice served with rice.

Give him a bath.
Let DS read him a bedtime story.
Let him bake some cornflake crispies. Don't forget the apron!
Take him to the supermarket.
Let him have a picnic lunch in your lounge.
Let him do "forest school" in the garden.
Have him tightrope walk across your washing line.
Get him to go for a ride on DS's bike/scooter.

HarrietSchulenberg · 25/01/2019 20:41

Stick a medicine syringe in its mouth and say you vaccinated him.
Put a hi vis vest on him so he doesn't get run over.

hotmessmom82 · 25/01/2019 20:46

I'm just a zombie when doing nights and my kind of ideas are never gonna be suitable for school. The bloody thing was horse riding one weekend and all I've come up with is baking so far 🙈

Play him the Brian May song

I'm so surprised nobody has said this already! Sorry I couldn't resist...

Steam it!

AdaColeman · 25/01/2019 21:27

Tuck him up in bed for an early night, he's exhausted by the horse riding.

Teach him to play chess/dominoes/ludo.

Introduce him to a new food, Chinese noodles/fish & chips/whatever you normally have at the weekend!

Introduce him to a dog/cat/rabbit

wigglypiggly · 25/01/2019 21:30

Digging in the garden
Having a manicure
Driving the car

Cismyfatarse1 · 25/01/2019 21:39

Photoshop it into a load of photos of world tourist sights - really blow all the horse riding, baking parents out of the water while doing nothing.

LittleLannister · 25/01/2019 21:45

I think I know what school you belong to OP, that bloody badger... lol,

I’d recommend a trip to the park,
Sleep over with a tent made for him or a shoe box for a bed with a couple of flannels for a pillow and blanket
Travels around town in a back pack with head poking out so it can see,
Diving into the cereal box

popcornwizard · 25/01/2019 22:28

Weekend of with a fag and a bottle of Jack Daniels

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 25/01/2019 22:33

Get him to fight a baboon.

AmIAWeed · 25/01/2019 22:36

Get pictures of bodger and badger and say you were looking up family trees...or just claim bodger and badger pics as your own. Include mash potato

FlibbertyGiblets · 25/01/2019 22:38

You need to pose it with a mushroom and a snake.

VittysCardigan · 25/01/2019 22:44

Hide it in a drawer and take pics of your 4 yo looking for it forgetting all about it until Monday

VittysCardigan · 25/01/2019 22:47

I meant playing hide & seek!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 25/01/2019 22:47

We had the teddy bear once. It went for a jacuzzi.

I.e. it was so mingling we put it in the washing machine. Apparently a lot of parents did.
