what jewellery are you lusting after now?

It's my birthday coming up soon enough and I think I would like a piece of jewellery so I am looking around various sites and making mental notes.

I would like either a necklace or a ring and preferably gold.

If you could pick anything you really fancy what would it be?

I am not looking for diamonds or to remortgage the house but love looking a pretty things so please throw your best links my way.

I love unusual, unique handmade jewellery - not too keen on branded stuff like tiffanys, though having said that I would love a cartier bangle but that it out of this budget....

Meant to say I love precious gemstones!

Georg Jensen earrings. I was drooling over some last night.

I'm very taken with Alex Monroe pieces at the moment. That is quite mainstream though.

Orcinus I really like some of Alex Monroe's work too and I have one his his gold necklaces of a bird in a hoop with tiny ruby eyes and LOVE it. I got it for my birthday a few years ago. But I think I have lost it as I haven't seen it in a long time. I keep hoping it will just turn up!

For what its worth I personally don't like Tiffanys, or Georg Jensen for that matter, as they are too sleek, and minimal for my taste, perhaps the OP feels the same?

OP I was browsing on ETSY recently for something and came across Plum & Posey - making lovely jewellery using vintge sealing wax stamps. I have book marked it for my next birthday which is also coming up in a couple of months

I had an hour to kill in Covent Garden recently and happened upon Les nereides and fell in love!

I own a lot of Bloody Mary Metal but still have a good few things on my wish list.
I also love The Great Frog! I really want one of their gem stone rings with the skulls down the side. Its on the list for my next big birthday.
