What's everyone up to today?

I have this horrible cold thing so have cancelled my 1st aid course & am currently sitting in the kitchen with a coffee (not that I can taste it)

Dd2 was down here but has gone to snuggle back up in bed to watch Youtube. I don't think dd1 is up yet.

We'll have a fairly lazy day I think & I'll help dd2 with her homework.

I got up and went to Sainsbury's as soon as it opened and bought some vegan cheese to try and stock up on oat milk and cat food.

I have lit the fire and am just having a cup of tea whilst it gets going.

It my eldest child's 17th birthday today, I'm waiting for her to wake up. Then I need to tackle Aldi and the dreaded food shop 😩

Then later on going for dd birthday meal with the whole family

I was going to visit my family, but overslept (by over three hours) and as I don't drive and use public transport to get there, I had to cancel. (It takes ages to get there, including the waiting for the bus/train, and ages to get home again.) Now I don't know what I'm doing today. I did text my friend to see if she's free but haven't heard anything, I might just go back to bed.

Got up, moaned at the kids for being annoying, cleaned out pets, made breakfast. Shower and put some washing on. Having a rest now while DH takes DD to gym class and DS watches TV. Later I might take kids swimming as they can pretty much sorted themselves out and I can float around them. Bonus is, they won't need showers later. Snack in the cafe then home for lego and board games.

I'm 38 weeks pregnant so taking the opportunity to just lie in bed whilst DP takes DS to football. Feeling a bit guilty just lying here as I can hear DS playing up for DP and refusing to put his shoes on. He's only 2 then later I'm taking DS for a hair cut - wish me luck

Hopefully having a bloody baby!! I’m due today and fat and fed up.

If he stays where he is then I’m having a curry and going to the cinema

I've cleaned up cat sick and put a load of laundry on. About to do an hour or so of my course while kids still asleep (,teenagers) then it gets really exciting: time to Hoover and clean the bathroom.

Don't know how I stand the excitement really!

Why do they always do it on the carpet rather than the tiles?

It's my birthday, I hope Sexnotgender's offspring gets to share it with me. We're off to a bit of shopping, a bit of stuff at the allotment (if it stays dry) then 'Laurel and Hardy' at the cinema followed by a meal at the local Italian

Having tea in bed with my husband whose already run the dog. We’ll read the papers and plan the week ahead shortly.
Then cut and highlights about midday. I find hairdressers the most boring of places so put it off as long as possible.
Then walk the dog again.
This evening going to friends for their annual worst Christmas present and games supper. About 12 of us playing silly games to win the very worst Christmas presents everyone has brought beautifully rewrapped.

Bed and carpet is definitely worth bonus points. Mine are banned from the bedroom so I’ve avoided that joy.

Thank you. I’m bouncing hopefully on my birthing ball but think he’s comfy.

Got up early and did the dreaded Aldi shop. Now just laying around being lazy

I am going through my clothes and everything that does not Bring Me Joy is going on Ebay.

Done parkrun now we need to tidy the house because we finally got round to inviting sil and bil over for the first time in 15 years

Been to the gym, need to tackle the washing and do shopping. Not a lot!

Having a bit of a day out with my DP. Off to the Junkyard Golf place in Leeds. Never been but looks fun!

27 weeks pregnant and I slept in to 10am so currently having a lovely cup of tea, watching trashy tv and waiting for OH to get home so we can go nursery shopping 😀

Going to see the stage show of War Horse this afternoon. Taking DS who is 8 so I'm hoping he's not too young for it. Seeing a friend later to drop in his birthday present.
Dry January for us so we'll buy nice food from Waitrose as a treat and watch a film tonight I think.

Dd woke up at 6.30 this morning but very luckily was happy to come into mummys bed and we snuggled and slept together until 10!!!
Just made us bacon and toast for breakfast and should be seeing my mum and sister later.
Dh has gone to London to meet his friend.

On way to the farm park today. Picnic lunch (flasks of soup and crusty bread etc) and will go into one of our favourite restaurants for dinner on the way back. DHs best friend is visiting from the US so he’s coming over this evening too.

I'm just waiting for dd to come out of her maths tutors then we are going home and doing some diy with dh. In the late afternoon we are driving into town to see the winter lights at Canary Wharf and have dinner.

Not much today.
Dd1 has just got up
Dd2,ds1 and ds2 are setting up the swamp monster set ds1 got for Xmas. I'm waiting for the shopping to arrive and my mum is coming for a coffee with her friend.
Jujitsu for everyone this afternoon then chilling out watching the voice and the greatest dancer tonight.
