What's everyone up to today?

I have this horrible cold thing so have cancelled my 1st aid course & am currently sitting in the kitchen with a coffee (not that I can taste it)

Dd2 was down here but has gone to snuggle back up in bed to watch Youtube. I don't think dd1 is up yet.

We'll have a fairly lazy day I think & I'll help dd2 with her homework.

I've just got back from my Pilates class so feeling nicely stretched.

Having a cuppa and then off for a shiwer and am then taking DD down to our new library to sign up and birrow some new books

OH is taking DS to his swimming lesson then not sure for the rest of the afternoon. Hoping to get some of the kids homework done.

Ds at swimming then lunch. Going to buy a new car after lunch (hopefully) mine died so in desperate need for my independence back!! Then i might suggest playing some games later, its raining here and very dull so be nice to get home later and stay dry and warm!

I'm either brewing a cold or an ear infection - currently have a sort throat and a tickly ear so it could go either way.

I made soup for today's lunch yesterday and tonight's chilli was frozen last week so the microwave (and DH) will be doing most of the work today.

I need to take DS to his karate lesson and I'll either take my knitting or my book to do while I wait for him. Tonight will be a film and knitting.

It was my birthday yesterday and I was in bed for 9pm as I needed to be up at silly o'clock today to get ds up for his away football game.

He's travelling to Southampton from Liverpool on a coach and has taken loads of GCSE revision with him ( he's nearly 16 ) and I won't settle until he's home late tonight.

Going to get my nails and brows done at 1.30, only ever get Shellac on nails and then doing the food shop.

Dd (7) and dp are having a film day as both aren't well.

Got back from holiday a couple of days ago so going through my photos, doing some laundry and trying to relax a bit more before going back to work on Monday!

• Dropped DS1 off at the cinema for a friend's birthday party
• Stopped off at play park on the way home for DS2 & DS3 to burn off some energy & picked up DH from Football training
• Had a cuppa to warm up & now going to pack
• Picking DS1 up after lunch then heading straight up to PILs (2h30 drive)
• Big party tea at PILs church

Then staying at PILs overnight & travelling back tomorrow afternoon, ready for school on Monday.

It's season 5 of Grace & Frankie. I am not moving from the sofa

DH has taken the kids out, and I'm trying to get 200 words of my doctoral thesis written. I feel at the first hurdle 16 words in, when I couldn't work out how to type those Swedish vowels with the circle on top.

Later, I'm making a lasagne, taking DS to a skiing lesson and going in search of a particular Tranformers toy he's been saving up for. Even later, we will tackle DD's maths homework which is rapidly getting too hard for me! We'll watch a film and eat ice cream tonight. Can't wait for that part of the day.....

I'm on my phone nursing a cold, feeling sorry for myself. Exhausted as baby didn't sleep much last night. Ds is playing at the neighbours for which I will be eternally grateful. Dh and dbaby having a long nap in bed. Must make lunch and wash my hair.

Dc's are at at my BIL's for the weekend so I'm planning to run a load of errands (post office, pickup dry cleaning, pick clothes from seamstress, maybe grab a quiet coffee), DH and I will go out for lunch maybe. I want to sort one of my wardrobes out too. Plus the usual cooking, cleaning, laundry shenanigans.

Everything got done yesterday as dh has his weekend on. So I get to have a pj in bed day, watching The Blacklist, ds out at friends, staying over, dd1 up in bedroom playing on PlayStation. Just the macaroni cheese to make for later.

I’ve worked since early this morning and have managed to get through everything. This is a rarity, usually I work til late all weekend.

Now I need to decide whether to have a bath and order a takeaway to stay in for the night or make an effort and go out for dinner and a few drinks with DH.
