Hello! So, I'm 37+4 with a breech baby and my waters have just gone. I've rung triage, put a pad on and our friends have just arrived to look after DS.

Currently in Asda carpark so DH can pick up some supplies for himself.

Please keep me entertained!

How exciting! Hope you're not in too much pain OP! Do you know what you're having?

Good luck! Thanks

SkippedALightFandango · 18/01/2019 01:25

Just about to try and sleep again. Good luck! Are you planning a vaginal delivery?

SneakyGremlins · 18/01/2019 01:27

Oooooh! Exciting!

I imagine your username will become true if DH takes too long in Asda Grin

No, having a section. Just hoping they don't make me labour too long. My first was traumatic and I suspect I'll get quite panicky if I'm left.

Very exciting! Best of luck Flowers

Oooh this is wonderful, I shall stay up with you as long as possible! Very exciting - anyone is Asda who can do emergency delivery (not groceries in this instance), if you suddenly start pushing? I'm sorry you are breech but many babies are and everything is OK. You will be!

Many years ago I went to a church where children had put all sorts of pictures and posters up about themselves on the walls, very pretty and decorative. I'll never forget one, under the picture it said (name changed): "I am Sarah aged seven and I was born outside FADS in Eltham". So sweet, never forgotten it.

Keep us going when you can, I can't imagine you are going to be on your mobile throughout labour. When I had mine there were no mobiles and no internet.

Good luck!
Flowers in advance.

Hope you don't have too much pain and discomfort and that you give birth to a lovely baby. My friend had a breech and was absolutely fine. As you will be. I'm as excited as you, well maybe not quite but deffo excited.

We're having a little girl (we think) but haven't chosen a name.

Ohh fab! Good luck!

SkippedALightFandango · 18/01/2019 01:31

They won’t deliberately leave you waiting. You will be seeing your new baby’s face very soon 😊🤞

DramaAlpaca · 18/01/2019 01:31

Best of luck Shamrock Hope all goes well.

I'm just off to bed, but will check in on you in the morning.

pollypockett · 18/01/2019 01:35

Ooh exciting!! Good luck!!

BoswellsBollocks · 18/01/2019 01:37

I’m still awake but heading to bed now.

Sooo exciting for you, hope everything goes well. Bet your little boy is excited to be a big brother.

Good luck! Flowers

StillMe1 · 18/01/2019 01:39

Best wishes

HappyGoLuckyGo · 18/01/2019 01:40

Just going to bed (I’m not in the U.K.) but wishing you all the best! I had an emergency section and the recovery was fine, despite the warnings I’d been given. Hope it all goes smoothly. Good luck!!!

jessstan2 · 18/01/2019 01:41

Well I'm still up but laptop needs to go on charge. I will check in though.
Whoopee!

Endofrelationship · 18/01/2019 01:47

We are at the hospital.

How exciting. 🎉

MyNameIsAlexDrake · 18/01/2019 01:51

Good luck! Hope the hospital is suitably quiet enough for you to have a speedy section x

Endofrelationship · 18/01/2019 02:00

I had a feeling it would be today. Had a few twinges last few days and today had a choice between a bath and mopping the kitchen floor- I knew I needed to mop that floor. I then cleaned the bathroom! I like my house in order before babies come!

Are you Mrs Hinch? Grin

I'm impressed at your organisation.

Walnutwhipster · 18/01/2019 02:03

Oh wow! Hope they get you into theatre sooner rather than later. x

Bloodybridget · 18/01/2019 02:03

Hi Endofrelationship, wishing you as comfortable a time pre-delivery as possible, and a very happy meeting with your new DD!

dontevenblink · 18/01/2019 02:12

Ooh exciting! I'm in NZ so it's daytime here so I'm around. Hope everything is going well. My c-sections with dc3 and dc4 were very relaxed compared to my first two births, and I enjoyed them far more, so don't be worried.

Endofrelationship · 18/01/2019 02:15

Are you Mrs Hinch? Haha! No. Last time, it was just after Christmas when my waters went and I took down all the Christmas decorations, swept, mopped, out on a load of washing and watched an episode of Buffy!

OP posts:
Endofrelationship · 18/01/2019 02:17

Thinking about it, I started rewatching Buffy again today. She's clearly not good for me!
