It's been a long day and I'm feeling a little weak, so thought I'd watch the Bros documentary. I wasn't a big fan, back in the day, but I'm not ashamed to say, I liked them.. I may have even worn Grolsch tops on my Dr Martens. But WTF!? What a pair of self absorbed, delusional, misinformed idiot's!! If I didn't think that they were serious, I would enjoy it, purely for the comedy value..

I remember them but was a little too young to be into them, but watched the programme anyway.

I giggled throughout. Stevie Wonder taught him not to be superstitious?! 😂😂

It’s like spinal tap! It’s amazing.

PoptartPoptart · 17/01/2019 21:15

I pretended to like them back in the day (cos I thought it was cool and all the other girls liked them) but really I was a Jason & Kylie fan Grin

costacoffeecup · 17/01/2019 21:18

When I was in junior four I was a member of a club called the bros busters because we hated them (actually I was ambivalent but wanted to be in the club.) We had a rap we used to do in the girls' changing rooms during our meetings. I think Luke was rhymed with puke.

Whatthefunk · 17/01/2019 21:36

It's hilarious! When Matt was talking about, not being on the same page, I actually choked on my Shiraz Grin

It's a bit sad really. So much rivalry.

TellerTuesday4EVA · 17/01/2019 22:19

Rome wasn't built in a day..... but we don't have as much time as Rome 😳

They're both so far up their own arses it's comical

Whatthefunk · 17/01/2019 22:35

Hilarious!

I was into Bros.

even dressed like them and looked like a boy

Haven’t seen the documentary and no desire to!

tectonicplates · 17/01/2019 22:50

It was awkward but strangely fascinating.

I loved Bros. What channel was it on? Might need to cure myself.

tectonicplates · 17/01/2019 22:54

BBC4. You can watch it on the iPlayer. Really bizarrely fascinating.

tectonicplates · 17/01/2019 22:57

Sorry, BBC2 apparently. Here: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0001qyv/bros-after-the-screaming-stops

Whatthefunk · 17/01/2019 23:09

Actually quite sad in the end.... two very deluded, lonely, middle aged men...

For anyone who doesn't have time to watch the whole thing, someone on YouTube has created a compilation of the worst best bits. m.youtube.com/watch?v=LioQzFiPCyg

MrsMaker88 · 17/01/2019 23:34

So funny / awful.

I’m a bit worried about the potential break down they might be having with everyone taking the absolute p*ss out of them, considering how upset they get over much smaller issues.

Was quite touching when they talked about their mum and sister.

LoniceraJaponica · 17/01/2019 23:50

I saw Luke Goss in Grease in the mid 1990s. I was never a Bros fan, but he was brilliant.

Choccywoccyhooha · 17/01/2019 23:54

It made me feel sad for them, particularly Matt. He seems very lost and has little sense of direction or perspective, plus not much of a grasp on reality. I just found it depressing.

Goposie · 18/01/2019 00:01

I quite liked both of them. They are just two ordinary blokes from South London who are still quite successful.

MorningsEleven · 18/01/2019 11:02

Wow! They're bonkers. It's like something Ricky Gervais would write.

chris59264 · 18/01/2019 13:44

sorry Google translate. Hello everyone. I am quite surprised by some of the comments about this documentary. at first sight, it is sometimes funny, but not ridiculous. on the contrary

chris59264 · 18/01/2019 13:46

The Bros brothers have often been critical of the past, unfairly as humans ... This documentary is touching

localfluff · 18/01/2019 14:23

It has to be a joke? It's pure David Brent 😂

AdobeWanKenobi · 18/01/2019 14:26

Luke seems to have got the brain cell and Matt the talent.
