So I work in a professional area (a lot of responsibility). Earlier today
I felt a little wooshy (low blood sugar) and I know a fellow colleague has some Pepsi in her drawer, so I helped myself to one , I noticed the cap was already twisted off , but no liquid was missing, drank 1/2 a bottle ,I plan to replace it tom with a little note of thanks .
However that was 1/2 an hour ago , and I feel , well tipsy ?
My question is , how do I approach this ??? I cant prove it was tampered with , or that is has ?alcohol in it ?
Do I approach my colleague and feign ignorance ? Do I report this to a manager ?

I often take a small Coke bottle to work full of black coffee, which looks very much like Coke. If you had drank from mine you would have got a nasty surprise! Whatever was in that bottle, you had no right to drink it and took a massive risk by doing it. So if I were you, I would let your colleague know what you had done and never, ever mention that you suspect there was alcohol there.

Does anyone else think the OP has gone away to hide under a rock 😂

OP did you report yourself for been intoxicated?
I would guess not !

I worked in different offices some have a more open drawer policy where it's ok to borrow things from there but that things like pens post it notes and staplers ie things that are provided for by the company not personal stuff sweets drinks etc other companies I work for if you took a single paper clip from a drawer you would get the evil stare for days after.
I have never worked somewhere where its ok to take personal stuff I would be mighty pissed off .
The Pepsi owner could have planned on taking this on to somewhere after she finish work. OP said nothing has been drank out of the bottle so she has absolutely no proof that the owner was going to drink out of the bottle at any point during the working day.

PP that said in a store chemicals in bottles other than The Originals if you did this in my work place you would be sacked on spot with no questions this is extremely dangerous
