What item of clothing has my mother bought me?!

NC - lighthearted. Disclaimer: I am grateful she has sent a present.

Normally I don't get a present from mother on my birthday but alas one has arrived (we live in different countries)

On the customs label it says 'Clothing'

In the past I have been given some rather hideous clothing from her including a massive purple fleece (it's not cold here), glitter tops (not my style) and endless sweaters with tartan (we are Scottish but there is such a thing as too much tartan).

I'm a jeans and a plain t-shirt kinda woman who is turning 35......Opening the present in about 10 hours.....

She saw how fussy I am when it comes to clothes so I am really surprised she has got me clothing. We're all dying to open it but will wait until morning here....

Maybe the clothing label is a red herring and it's a saltire so you can fly the flag abroad

4. Beach towel. Not tartan
5. Massive glittery pants.

I shall reveal all in about 8 hours....apologies in advance if it's a completely normal item without fluorescent colours, annoying bows, itchy material, open necks (don't suit them). Maybe it will make up for all the sweet but awful presents in the past

Tartan raincoat?

A neck warmer. Not a scarf, just a fleece lined knitted tube. In pink/purple.

Might not be a big enough package but hopefully its a wolf fleece

One of those adult sized onsies, described on the label as a Lounge Suit.

A snood and wrist warmers, pink with gold lurex threads in.

A matching scarf, mittens and bobble hat, all in bright tartan

Big pashmina.
Slipper socks.

But I really want it to be Hoppings wolf fleece

Oh one of those wolf fleeces would be something she would think I would love!

She's weirdly obsessed with Alpacas at the moment too- is that a thing in the U.K.? Is it an alpaca something....

It's going to be a Per Una cardigan from M and S with random lurex stitching, bows and twirly bits.
