Dulce Gusto pods

I got a coffee machine for Christmas, it's a Nescafe Dulce Gusto. The cafe au lait pods are lovely, as are the hot chocolate ones but I bought a pack of 3 cappuccino pods from amazon and they are awful. Some pods are just strong horrible black coffee, some are just milk. Absolutely disgusting to taste. I thought I may have a rogue box but tried random ones from each box and everyone I tried was undrinkable.
I also bought some latte macciata pods today and they are equally as foul.
Has anyone else experienced this? Both the cappuccino and the macciata pods are honestly disgusting. I'm so disappointed.

So milk and black coffee

They do taste nice, so one white one and one black in the quantities on the lids

I have been using the latte and cappuccino for years and love them, i like strong coffee. I dont like the cafe au lait so much but ds does

The latte is level 5 milk and level 2 coffee
Cappuccino level6 milk and level 1 coffee.

The cappucino pods are all the same, how do you know which is milk and which is coffee? Thank you for the replies. The hot chocolate ones are just single pods - I get the Malteser ones. The cafe au lait are nice but my DH needs an extra spoonful of instant in them

If thats not right you do indeed have a dodgy supply

We love them but yes, you do have to follow the instructions for each type and look on the box for how strong they are if you don't like strong coffee.

Maltesers hot chocolate???

The malteser are gorgeous

The milk is white bottom and the coffee black

There is a app from dolce gusto which has a timer when to add the pods to the machine and works great. The app has all the flavours listed so should be no problem finding the one u use.

The cappuccino ones are black for the coffee bit and white for the milk!

You can get the malteser hot chocolate in wilkinsons

The Cappuccino have all the same colour tops but the colour of the actual pod is white for milk and black I think for the coffee part, you need one of each for each cup.

The Malteaser ones are just one pod per drink as they aren't 'official' Dolce Gusto brand. The Dolce Gusto hot choc and cappuccinos have 8 white pods and 8 brown pods per box. You use one of each per drink. It tells you on the box which order to put them through the machine.

Cheese. The milk pods are the ones with the whiter base colour, the coffee ones are brown

Thank you for all your help. But honestly all my pods are exactly the same. There is no difference at all. The pods and the bases are all the same colour.
They were from Amazon.
