My favourite so far is DKNY Be Delious Apple. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to perfume, just stick to what I like. Or use whatever perfume i get given as gifts. But the DKNY is my favourite from the limited range I've used.

I like fruity, floral, soft fragrances. Hate spicy, strong ones. I'm looking for something for daytime wear.

How is Elizabeth Arden?

Also, I'd love to try them on first but I'm going to buy on Fragrance Direct so don't have that option.

If I could get some recommendations on here, maybe I could try them on when i go to the shops next time.

Thanks!

I love Sun by Jill Sander

Bedofwool · 15/01/2019 17:29

Ted Baker do some lovely fragrances. Got Ted Baker W eau de perfume as a present. Quite floral.

From my own collection (I wear Be Delicious a lot) I would recommend DKNY Woman, La Vie Est Belle, Dior Poison Girl (totally not like Poison) and maybe J'Adore.

For cheaper options you might like Next perfumes. I often wear their Just Pink one for work. I wouldn't say it lasts as good as my more expensive ones but it's cheap enough to buy a big bottle and reapply as required.

Clarins Eau des Jardins
It’s citrusy, fresh, floral. I love it as an every day perfume.

MimsyBorogroves · 15/01/2019 17:42

What about Lovely?

TheVanguardSix · 15/01/2019 17:42

What’s Jil Sander’s Sun like?

Gotstuckwiththisname · 15/01/2019 17:42

Marc Jacobs Oh Lola
Vera Wang Princess
Kenzo Flowers
Chloe Love Story

Zara perfumes are lovely and very budget, but they last. I also like the New Look perfumes. They don't last as long as Zara, but beautiful smells and cheap as chips!

It's also worth looking at the Britney Spears Fantasy perfumes. I really like all of them.

Try the samples in Debenhams etc, then buy the dupes from Perfume Parlour. They're
very close, and the price can hardly be beaten.

At the moment I’m alternating between Michael Kors - Wanderlust, Clarins - Eau de Ressourcante and Tom Ford - Neroli Portofino.

Womble75 · 15/01/2019 17:53

SJP lovely or NY are both nice day fragrances and can usually find EDP 100ml under £20 online.
Elizabeth Arden Splendour is quite nice also
Fragrances Direct always seem to have good deals

Nanasueathome · 15/01/2019 17:56

Jo Malone perfumes are almost £100 ......

Grimbles · 15/01/2019 18:03

I wear green apple dkny and have recently discovered L'Imperatrice by D&G. It's very fruity and citrussy

2019Reasons · 15/01/2019 18:08

Notino website does loads of samples and is reliable. You can also find samples easily on eBay.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 15/01/2019 18:11

No Malone doesn’t last like it used to when it really was Jo Malone and not Estée Lauder.

Jo Loves does last though. Pomelo is the signature fragrance and Space NK have a limited range if you can’t get to the London store.

ShortandSweet96 · 15/01/2019 18:13

Marc Jacobs daisy range, daisy love is my favourite.
Currently wear prada candy but I find it doesn't last very long

MrsUnpredictable · 15/01/2019 18:17

I've got a few that I use at the minute :
Ralph Lauren - Ralph
Pacco Rabanne - Lady million
YSL - opium
YSL - Mon Paris

M by Mariah Carey is about £25 for 100ml. Yes it's a celebrity perfume but I get more compliments about that one then I do my chanel or jo Malone. It is her first one in a purple bottle and is fruity and floral and smells amazing.

ThatLibraryMiss · 15/01/2019 18:19

The Perfume People's Jo Malone dupes are [[https://theperfumepeople.net/product-category/collection-codes/jml-collection/ here]. I wear their Verbena From the Province, a dupe of Verbenas of Provence, as a summer scent. It's clean and lemony but not sharp.

Sorry, the live link's here. I must remember to preview.

Anothermothersusername · 15/01/2019 18:27

Chanel Chance is lovely as is Coco Mademoiselle. I can’t remember how much they cost though

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 15/01/2019 18:31

Classic one, Calyx by Clinique

WhatASmashingBlouse · 15/01/2019 18:40

M&S New York is lovely and really cheap!

WoollyMummoth · 15/01/2019 18:46

I still love White musk from Bodyshop, have worn it for the last 30 years or so and I still get compliments on how nice I smell! It’s reasonably priced too

MyGuideJools · 15/01/2019 18:51

I love Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers as my everyday scent.
It's fresh and light and I get compliments about it. It's about £10 a bottle too!
