How long were you together with your DP before having a child together?

18 years! (We got together young) wouldn't change anything, it happened at the right time for us.

With my Ex, unplanned pregnancy after 18 months. We didn't stay together.
My now DH and I have been together 14 years. We had our first child together after we'd been together for 6 years. No regrets about either relationship or situation. I now have 3 wonderful children, a wonderful husband and an amicable relationship with my ex (eldest child's father).

Just under 5 years when dd1 arrived, but we were engaged within 5 mths and married 11mths after that.

9 years. We didn't plan it to take that long but meant that we could have lots of long haul coupley holidays and we had almost paid off the mortgage on our old house so there were benefits.

Been with DP 5 years and currently ttc. I think 4/5 years is the right amount of time.

25 months. Although we’d known each other for 3.5 years when we got together. No regrets. DD is now 14 (we also have a DS who is 13). We’re still together.

2.5 years. I regret marrying him at all but not the timing of DC1 !
