Where do you position your hot water bottle?

Where do you position your hot water bottle? By your feet, legs or torso?

Feet!

Under my feet, as they are always the bit I find hardest to get warm. If my feet are cold I can't sleep.

So am I the only one who cuddles my hot water bottle then? To be fair it is a teddy bear hot water bottle

Torso!! Sometimes it’s too hot though. But I like curling around it

Under my hip, unless it's a double bottle day, so one at foot & one under back.

I lie on my side and put it between my knees or up the front of my nightshirt

Feet! Unless I'm so cold I need to thaw my way down from the knees...

On lap like a cat when on the sofa, next to torso when in bed.

I put it at the bottom of the bed while I brush my teeth, then when I'm in bed it's in my stomach we hold I'm on MN

I sleep curled around it. It's SO FLUFFY!

Two hot water bottles? Hot water bottle whilst on the sofa? You lot are blowing my mind right here

On my chest, or cuddled in to my body. DH gives me a row every time in case it bursts and I get burnt!

I lie on mine. Front down under my tummy.

I lie face down with it tucked under my stomach as I have IBS. I NEVER sleep without one, not even in summer!

I’ll usually cuddle mine too, always have a hot water bottle on my belly. It’s the best way

Clamped to my lower back for terrible hip/back pain

i have two. one on my feet and the other on my back, tucked down the back of my pants!

I put it in bed where my torso would go, to warm the bed while I'm brushing teeth etc. Then I usually lay on my side & have it behind my knees so it keeps my legs & feet warm.

If I have one when on the sofa it’s for my bad back so behind my back. If I’ve got a sciatica flare up then instead I’ll have one on my hip and one on my thigh.
In bed I have one on my feet and I cuddle one. I always had a hot water bottle for my feet growing up but I dunno, at some point I stopped and kind of forgot they existed until I had to use them for my bad back. Having two of a night instead of one was a revelation and I wouldn’t go back now!
