I’m enjoying a bit of peace with coffee and the paper
No real plans today.
Dinner is in the slow cooker
Usual Sunday evening prep later

Fed and walked the dog and just made my first coffee of the day.
I'm pondering whether to give my kitchen cupboards a sort out.
No cooking today as I made a batch of chicken curry last night.
Looking forward to Dancing on Ice and Call the Midwife later.

I got up early this morning while DH walked DDog and had a burst of energy and:

  • dusted the lounge
  • cleaned the lounge windows
  • did a load of laundry
  • made packed lunches for tomorrow

Now sitting back with a cup of coffee need to pop to Lidl and then pork roast later

lynnepot · 13/01/2019 10:12

Everyone fed and dressed. Taking my boy swimming in the afternoon. Just having a lazy Sunday before that.

Antiquevintageandrusty · 13/01/2019 10:15

Still drinking coffee - DD and I are going for a walk shortly.

I have got to submit a 2000 word essay later - am currently on 500but haven’t looked at it for three weeks! DD has got tons of homework so we will spend the afternoon together working with music, tea and cake.

Usual Sunday laundry etc.

Nnnnnineteen · 13/01/2019 10:17

MNing in bed, getting up in a mo. Bit of household drudgery, then late lunch planned. Off into town for an hour or so, fancy the national gallery. Then catching up on a shitload of paperwork.

AdaColeman · 13/01/2019 10:22

Having tea & chocolate croissant in bed, then I’ll be up doing some admin, and later making a fish soup for dinner.

It’s always quiet on a Sunday here! Brew

RedWineIsFabulous · 13/01/2019 10:24

Feeling flu like and am in bed which is a never for me at this time of day.

Worried about Brexit.

Ffsnosexallowed · 13/01/2019 10:24

We were out last night. I drank too much. I'm still in bed. I may stay here.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 13/01/2019 10:24

Feel the need for a chilled day today after too much running around yesterday

We haven't long been up Grin DDs got a shed load of homework and I've got marking and the usual Sunday get ready for the week ahead stuff.

We also have an Erasmus exchange student coming tomorrow. We have to sort out the house as one DD is having to sleep on the sofa while the student shares a room with the other DD. Also we don't have a lock on the bathroom door so DDs are designing a sign to go on the door.

Also need to go out and get some more fruit, bread etc

GroggyLegs · 13/01/2019 10:51

Sitting in the emergency dentist as I think my wisdom tooth extraction has got infected & I've got a face like hamster with killer breath.

I'm feeling rather sorry for myself. I'm rubbish at being ill.

WhoTookTheChristmasCookie · 13/01/2019 10:54

Have just arrived at DGMs house - me and DD left nice and early to beat any traffic but sailed through so arrived here much quicker than expected.

Now sitting with a cup of tea while DD plays, waiting for the family to arrive.

DGM cooking a roast and I refuse to move until I need to drive us home Grin

Managed to strip the beds and get the sheets in the wash before I left too. DF is going to put them in the tumble dryer before he leaves so nice, clean beds tonight for us all!

lucysmam · 13/01/2019 10:57

I'm off to Lidl with dd1 shortly, need some bits for the week's packed lunches.

Need to get the washer on first though & actually get dressed.

Later I'll help dd2 finish off the model solar system that's part of her homework & we'll bake for the week too.

@GroggyLegs I hope you're feeling better soon!

Sparklingbrook · 13/01/2019 10:59

Drinking Gingerbread Latte and watching Sunday Brunch.

hmmwhatatodo · 13/01/2019 10:59

I have had a cup of tea. That’s about it.

singleascheeseslice · 13/01/2019 11:03

Had a cheesy bacon omelet and coffee whilst reading that anal thread, it had been deleted by the time I turned the page though, so now I'm here instead Grin.

Sparklingbrook · 13/01/2019 11:07

In bed with a migraine.

😯

Sparklingbrook · 13/01/2019 11:12

I really need to go and do some stuff. Lovely choice of

Finding washing and putting it on.
Ironing.
Sorting the recycling
Food shopping

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 13/01/2019 11:14

@Sparklingbrook
Food shop would be my pick
But only because I don’t iron and am ignoring the European laundry mountain in my houseGrin
Solidarity and all that

Yes I think that's the least worst isn't it hobnobs.

Problem is I am still in my dressing gown. Mmmm.

DS1 is coming back home for a night and bringing all of his washing home apparently. So should really clear what we have first.

DS2 has just texted from his bed asking if I can take him to his footy match for 1pm. Sad

Whatififall · 13/01/2019 11:21

Having a latte while waiting for Exh to pick up DD. He’s currently 1hr 20 minutes late. DD is currently switching between anxious and hopeful that he’s forgot.

singleascheeseslice · 13/01/2019 11:24

lmao sparkling & hobknobs I'm not sure anything can put me off food Blush .

Need to also put some laundry on and get dressed. Maybe after one more refresh of active threads....

Outfoxed · 13/01/2019 11:27

I start in a new class at my language school tomorrow and I’m freaking out that everyone will be more advanced than me so I’m attempting to study but is hard when you don’t know what to expect! So drinking a lot of coffee and compounding my anxiety!
