I just looked at Mrs Hinch's toilet roll stamp

What a load of fucking shit.

I'd seen it mentioned on here a couple of times and so I just googled it. Why the fuck would anyone want a drip stain on their toilet roll. As if someone thinks "Oh this is a new roll, great". It's just fucking toilet roll!

Re: the excitement women have over cleaning, please tell me what is exciting about cleaning something that’s already clean? There seems to be a lot of cleaning already clean stuff (if you know what I mean) Hmm

ItsalmostSummer · 14/01/2019 10:32

And as for the loo roll, who wants to decorate their loo roll? What’s the point? People doing this clearly dont have to leave the house to work. Who has time for all that carry on?

BlackCatSleeping · 14/01/2019 11:01

Meh, she likes cleaning. She has a lot of Instagram followers who are interested. If she can make money off that, more power to her. I really don’t see any need to get personal or mean about what she does.

BlackCatSleeping · 14/01/2019 11:02

I mean she puts herself out there, so is bound to get criticism or comments on her house and cleaning, but she’s a person, so I don’t see the need to get personal about it.

I just clicked on her Insta from morbid curiosity and there is actually a photo of her in full white wedding veil so her actual face is totally obscured with her husband and dad leaning across her shaking hands.

Patriarchytastic.

MariaNovella · 14/01/2019 11:43

Her house looks like a furniture chain store shop floor display. Uber naff.

BigusBumus · 14/01/2019 12:59

I agree, its like she only shops in The Range.

MaHeidsGouping · 14/01/2019 13:16

That is probably why she appeals to so many, if her house is how you'd like yours then it is all within a decent price range.

I wonder when she has her baby whether the name she chooses will rocket to No 1 in the baby names 2019....her hinchers are crazy like that, copying everything she does.

tynext · 14/01/2019 13:27

Yes I think the fact a lot of home stuff is The Range/IKEA/primark/Asda/b&m adds massively to the appeal for her fans

DoSomethingBob · 14/01/2019 13:28

We were in a hotel in Edinburgh and they’d done this with the loo roll. The tap must have been a bit too wet or something because it had made the whole side of the roll damp right through. So gross.
We put it on the side and 4 days later it was still a bit damp.
Bonkers!

FlyingMonkeys · 14/01/2019 13:35

I had a good neb yesterday and thought ah! She must have pictures of her house as she was doing it out? But no.... I think it looked like that when she moved on and she just kept on top of it (not hard in a new build). Watched a video of - squirt cleaner on sink, get cloth, rub sink... Mind blown 😂

RedForShort · 14/01/2019 13:47

I've see that picture too JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff, it's disturbing (but the comments are all swoony). Though I actually think she's got her back to the photographer, which makes it slightly less handing over a chattel like.

partay · 14/01/2019 13:50

Her account is based on, and encourages, grotesque levels of consumerism.

The amount of single use plastic bottles and chemicals is disgusting. The 'Hinch Hauls' are shameful.

She must be laughing her way to the bank, what with the Hinch Army spaffing over the hundreds of affiliate links and ads. It's embarrassing.

mrsoutnumbered · 14/01/2019 14:15

@partay I don't understand the 'hinch hauls'. Why do people need to stockpile 10-20 bottles of the same product? Surely you just buy one when you're running out?!

GlitterStick · 14/01/2019 14:15

I like Mrs Hinch. I don't care if I'm in a minority on here.
Her stories motivate me, and to me that's a good thing. Each to their own.
Why the horrible comments about the woman's appearance? That's got nothing to do with her house or methods, just bitching.
The "would her fame have taken off so much if she was overweight etc" comment has me a bit baffled as from what I've seen she never showed her face or what she looked like until recently, it was just her arm and her voice.
It still mainly is. Definitely no one really knew what she looked like until she was on telly a while back.
I think some don't actually know what they're talking about and are just in for a chance of a gleeful kicking.

TheMagiciansNiece · 14/01/2019 14:23

Some people really have too much time on their hands!

Namechangeragain01 · 14/01/2019 14:28

I really wish I was as house proud as Mrs Hinch but I can't be arsed. I'd rather spend time with family / take doggo out / read or sleep.
I'm a scruff at heart tho!

Patroclus · 14/01/2019 14:49

My northern irish mate commented that if they went out and bought 50 bottles of bleach in one go questions would be asked.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 14/01/2019 16:15

Questions would be asked anywhere if you bought 50 bottles of bleach in one go! Grin that’s not exclusive to NI!

LadyDeadpool · 14/01/2019 16:30

My tap makes a flower stamp Not going to bloody do it though. I have OCD and can kind of understand the need for stuff to be clean mine was kicked off by having a newborn in NICU but I also can't use all the chemicals she does because that sets off my anxiety about the amount of shit we're breathing in especially with the studies showing that the amount of cleaning products used in modern life is contributing to the highest rates of childhood asthma ever seen.

EnidButton · 14/01/2019 16:36

I find cleaning calms my mind sometimes. A bit like an act of mindfulness. So I get that part.

I don't think comments about her appearance and personal things are necessary. It was the insta-famous social media thing and women having cleaning as a hobby that most people were puzzling over. As a person she's seized an opportunity and is doing well out of it. It's her followers who are the daft ones.

comebacksoonsusan · 14/01/2019 18:42

She has 'mass appeal' I suppose. She lives in an ordinary new build, the likes of which millions of people live in rather than a lot of the insta lot who are in whacking great victorian houses or living in a farrow and ball blue terrace in East London. My working class mother would approve of both how her home looks (grey with a hint of bling) and how clean it is. She's got a huge ready made market of daytime telly mum huns who would love to look like her. Well done Mrs H.
