I just looked at Mrs Hinch's toilet roll stamp

What a load of fucking shit.

I'd seen it mentioned on here a couple of times and so I just googled it. Why the fuck would anyone want a drip stain on their toilet roll. As if someone thinks "Oh this is a new roll, great". It's just fucking toilet roll!

@Sareted1604 Where have I bullied anyone? Quote, please.

See my previous posts on this thread. I've actually criticised the personal attacks from others. So please refrain from throwing the word 'bully' around; that makes you just as bad.

‘keep your opinions to yourself’?

Why should she keep her opinions to herself? She is entitled to say that she thinks that stamping your loo roll with your tap is a gimmicky load of bollocks if that is her opinion?

Why are women always expected to 'not say anything at all if they can't say anything nice'?

Yes, even worse to say you can't say anything about her work because she is pregnant. Now that is sexist!

comebacksoonsusan · 15/01/2019 11:32

There was one silly comment about her appearance and it got reported.

Beerflavourednipples · 15/01/2019 11:32

I'm also a bit disappointed because I thought she was full of super cleaning tips and actually she just has all these artful - grey! - photos. I mean, they're very pretty, if not to my taste, and clearly the woman works hard and is making money for herself, so well done for that.

You need to watch her stories, that's where all the cleaning goes on.

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 11:34

Sareted1604 is a new poster who has only ever confronted to one thread. This one. Interesting.

What's with all this 'she's pregnant for God's sake' guff? I'm pregnant too but that literally has no relevance. Why do we make pregnancy out to be some sort of condition that infantilises women? It's weird.

53rdWay · 15/01/2019 11:35

keep your opinions to yourself

Why FFS? This is a huge craze at the moment, are we not allowed to mention our opinions on it because the woman who started it is pregnant? How does that make sense?

I have nothing against her as a person, I have no idea what she’s like. But the lifestyle she’s selling and that a lot of people are buying up seems to me like a combination of excessive domestic work and excessive consumerism, repackaged as fun and helping lots of ladies and whatever else. That I think is regressive bollocks. It’s like the 1950s when we had a huge cultural backlash over women’s place in society after the war, and there was this extreme cult of domesticity and ‘housewives’ finding all their joy in life from all the unpaid shitwork women have done for centuries.

I don’t care if this particular woman wants to ‘put her sink to bed each night’ or whatever. I do care when sink cleaning is getting sold to us as a fun activity that involves spending a fortune on cleaning products.

BlackCatSleeping · 15/01/2019 11:35

The OP accused her of being mentally ill. That comment was also deleted. Now the OP is all I didn’t say anything mean. Yeah, right.

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 11:36

celebelly its because they have no other argument. Not that being pregnant is an argument. I am also pregnant. I dont know what the deal is. Sexist waddle.

OP posts:
53rdWay · 15/01/2019 11:37

I’m pregnant, you’re all allowed to criticise me if you like. And my kitchen sink.

Sareted1604 · 15/01/2019 11:39

LOL 😂

Whisky2014 · 15/01/2019 11:39

I said it screams of of havung OCD. And it does. And in my opinion it's backed up by the honeymoon cleaning.
That isn't an attack that's an observation. People have OCD, that's a fact. Why aren't we allowed to say it?
Of course I don't know if she actually has it but if she does then it's again irresponsible for her to be heading a cleaning brand....

OP posts:
cakequeenn · 15/01/2019 11:44

As much as I can't stand watching her instagram stories she does give me motivation to clean 😩 some of it is ridiculous though completely agree

Bowchicawowow · 15/01/2019 11:45

I am sure she is thrilled you have diagnosed her as having a mental health condition OP. If she wants to talk about that then fine but why should she? She has the right to keep those things private.

GlitterStick · 15/01/2019 11:47

Exactly @blackcatsleeping. Personal attacks then wide eyed innocence.
Opinions on her work? What's speculating on her mental health got to do with her work? Confused Nothing, that's what.

Frosty66611 · 15/01/2019 11:47

I just watch her stories for her dog Henry who is ridiculously cute. Her cleaning stuff is incredibly OTT

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 15/01/2019 11:47

OP I don’t think attributing a mental health condition (especially one which faces much dilution and ridicule - not by you) is helpful here.

Fromage · 15/01/2019 11:47

Oh I see, beerflavourednipples Grin

I'll give her stories a go. I'm not keen on using tonnes of environment-buggering chemicals to clean when elbow grease is ecofriendly and free. But I'll see if I "get it" if I look at her stories.

As long as they're in colour because all the grey is depressing!

53rdWay · 15/01/2019 11:48

She has anxiety doesn’t she? Hasn’t she spoken about that quite publicly and said the cleaning helped her with it? I’m lost now.

cocoajumbo · 15/01/2019 11:50

She has indeed talked openly about suffering from anxiety and panic attacks.

Beerflavourednipples · 15/01/2019 11:52

Yes I think she does suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, she was saying she was anxious about getting the train into London on her own, and I get that.

Maybe the cleaning does help with it all. Stamping your loo roll with a tap is still stooooooopid though, and all the chemicals are terrible for both your own health and the environment.

GlitterStick · 15/01/2019 11:54

men have it aimed at much as them

Bull. Men have their looks ridiculed, their mental health questioned do they?
Not seen any of those. Actually, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a male IGer/ YouTubers/blogger criticised and pulled apart on any of those type of threads.
That seems to be saved for successful, big pretty women.
Hmm. Interesting!
