Difference in weight between you & your DP

I was just interested... what's the difference between weight between you and your DP?
Currently the difference between DH and I is 22kg, so if my 7yo and I stood on the scales we would equal him. When I met DH there was probably only just over 10kg difference (I was over a st heavier and he was much lighter), and if it's relevant, he's about 7in taller than me.

DH is 5 stone heavier than me. I have to point that out to him when he doesn’t quite get why I find him partially lying on me, or cosying up in bed a bit claustrophobic Hmm

TowerRingInferno · 12/01/2019 21:34

Not sure exactly how much he weighs but there’s a huge difference between us. I’m size 10 and short, he’s big - tall and overweight.

DH is about 6 stone heavier than me although he’s not overweight; just taller with more muscle

Justwaitingforaline · 12/01/2019 21:39

I’m 5ft 4 and 8 and a half stone. Petite but curvy, could do with maybe eating less bread and going to the gym once in a while.

He’s 6ft 2 and 11 stone. Very tall and slim. Eats like a horse, is never full and could quite happily eat a three course meal at each mealtime in a day.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 12/01/2019 21:39

He's 4.5 stone heavier than me

ItCanOnlyBeBarrysTea · 12/01/2019 21:40

I'm 5'4 and he's 6'3. I think he's about 15 stone, he's built like a brick shitehouse.

At my lightest I was 8 stone and very skinny so he was nearly double my weight. I'm nearly 9 stone now.

sweetkitty · 12/01/2019 21:43

Only about 2 stone DH runs marathons and is very fit with not a spare but of fat on him. I’m curvy.

BeeMyBaby · 12/01/2019 21:44

IDoAllMyOwnStunts has pointed out something else I was interested to know. If your DP ever goes on top of you do you feel like you are being slowly crushed? I guess there is just over 3st difference between my DH and I- I can't imagine coping with a 6st difference that slot of you seem to have!

We weigh about the same, but I need to loose about 4 kg of weight I put on in December.

grasspigeons · 12/01/2019 21:46

DH is twice my weight - he is 19 stone. He is very tall and broad and has a lot of muscle but also a bit of padding.

Jaimx86 · 12/01/2019 21:47

36kg difference, so over 5 stone. Both of us are in ‘healthy’ bmi range.

UselessTrees · 12/01/2019 21:49

We weigh about the same at the moment, I think. He's very skinny and I'm at the top of 'healthy' BMI.

vinoandbrie · 12/01/2019 21:50

My DH is 10 stone heavier than me. I am very short, and he is very tall, but he weighs too much - it’s a worry for me.

Screamqueenz · 12/01/2019 21:54

About 5 and a half stone, he's 6 inches taller than me, but could do with losing about a stone.

IDoAllMyOwnStunts · 12/01/2019 21:56

Well if he laid on top of me with all his weight yes it’d feel very crushing, but he never does as he knows it’d hurt me (I’m only 9 stone).

The only thing is when asleep and cuddling up in a spooning position he can end up half lying on me, so I then have to beat him off as he sort of crushes me 😫. Neither of us are overweight, just one of those things I guess.

Unescorted · 12/01/2019 21:57

He weighs 2kg less than me. Both are "healthy" bmi

ginandnappies · 12/01/2019 21:57

I'm 8 stone he's 13. He wants to lose weight but it's always a tomorrow type of thing haha.

Isadora2007 · 12/01/2019 21:58

I am ashamed to say there is probably around 2/3 stones difference between my husband and me. And I’m the heavier one. 🙈

PetuliaBlavatsky · 12/01/2019 21:58

My DH is very tall but slim, I'm tall but fat so I weigh about 1.5 stone more than him at the moment. We used to be about the same but illness and menopause have contributed to my weight gain over the last couple of years.

SallyWD · 12/01/2019 21:59

My husband is about 2 stone 10lbs heavier than me. He's 3 inches taller. He doesn't look much fatter than me, he has a lot more muscle than I do.

SoyDora · 12/01/2019 21:59

About 6.5 stone difference.
No worries about him crushing me as he obviously holds himself up and doesn’t put all his weight on me!

PhannyMcNee · 12/01/2019 22:01

I’m 2 stone heavier but I’m also taller (and fatter) so to be expected really.

He hasn’t complained yet about me going on top...

Youmadorwhat · 12/01/2019 22:02

I’m about 8 and a half and I think he is about 12 and a half

evilharpy · 12/01/2019 22:02

He’s about 6” taller and 7lbs heavier than me. Both healthy weights but he’s bottom end of healthy BMI and very skinny whereas I’m top end.
