Woman I know in passing got a MASSIVE boob job over the summer. I still can't see her without just staring at them, they're just so unnaturally big you can't help but zone in on them

Kittykat93 · 10/01/2019 21:55

What is it ? Grin

fridaydanceparties · 10/01/2019 21:58

I can't even work out what she's done. It's something to her cheeks I think, it's affecting her smile.

Are you sure she hasn't had her teeth done? My sister had veneers and couldn't close her mouth the same for a couple of weeks, she looked different too.

RebootYourEngine · 10/01/2019 22:05

There is a female at my work who has messed with her face. Everyone talks about it because she looks so awful and fake.

fridaydanceparties · 10/01/2019 22:07

Maybe it is her teeth, it's so hard to pinpoint and yet her face is so different. Oh god I can see myself staring again tomorrow Shock

My friend had botox and looks really odd, under her eyebrows looks sort of padded and they've gone up a fair bit.
She also used to have a little crease under her eyes that made them look smiley and that's gone, it's totally changed her face.

Singlenotsingle · 10/01/2019 22:44

Why don't you just comment on how much prettier she looks and ask if she's using a new face cream? She might just tell you.

Yes one of the mums at school has had her lips filled. It just looks unnatural and I preferred the old lips. Similarly a friend has had a very well done nose job...... However I still preferred the old roman nose. It just suited the rest of her face and gave her character. Now she just has a boring nose.

nzeire · 10/01/2019 22:51

A few years ago I used to see a woman at kindy who I thought had had been in a bad accident and had had reconstructive surgery (IMO a very good food x up). Turns out it was years of fillers and Botox. Grim.

nzeire · 10/01/2019 22:52

Fix up.

Nothing against a few tweaks here and there, but this was overboard and just weird

NoShitHemlock · 10/01/2019 23:08

You need sunglasses - feign a headache due to glarey overhead lights, pop your Roy Orbisons on then stare to your hearts content Grin

SixButterflies · 11/01/2019 07:12

RebootYourEngine - a female?

NicoAndTheNiners · 11/01/2019 07:15

I used to work with someone who had regular lip fillers done. Her lips looked awful, proper duck bill pout, she could barely close her lips. When she talked especially she looked so odd. I used to sit in meetings trying not to stare but was transfixed. I wasn't the only one either.

My colleague got her lips done - it was SO OBVIOUS as they were massive but she never mentioned it and so we felt we couldn’t say anything!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 11/01/2019 11:19

I decided in December that I would start wearing my "fakes" (double mastectomy), because every piece of more adult clothing made me look wrong and about 10 month pregnant. The office has known me for 10 years without, most female colleagues know and everybody else just looks and keeps their thoughts, if they have any, to themselves.

weebarra · 11/01/2019 11:24

Me too prokup. When I went back to work after my bilateral mx, I didn't wear my prostheses but nothing sat right, so I do now. Quite often the first thing I do when I get home is take my boobs off. I don't always wear them on non-working days and feel a bit self conscious, but people tell me they don't notice!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 11/01/2019 11:29

@weebarra
I take them off as soon as I get home, too.
But since last year I need to look more "dressed", it is simply easier to buy clothes if you fit the cuts.
And really, people spent 99% less time thinking about other people (i. e. me) than my vanity likes to think.

PinkHeart5914 · 11/01/2019 11:34

I think if you have work done that is so obvious you can’t expect people not to notice and stare a bit to be honest.

When you walk back in to the office with massive duck lips, huge tits when previously an a cup or a forehead that doesn’t move,or teeth that blind people when you smile and shock horror people will notice

IhateBoswell · 11/01/2019 12:00

My sister’s veneers are bright white and look ridiculous imo (there was nothing wrong with her original teeth). It’s the first thing she’s asked now “gosh aren’t your teeth white! Are they real?”

Just don’t see the point in paying thousands to look fake/unnaturally like oneself 😬

Patroclus · 11/01/2019 12:09

Niles Crane put me off botox.

Andanotherhehe · 11/01/2019 12:13

My MIL refers to all women as females. I find it such a bizarre turn of phrase and have literally never met another person who does this.
'There was a female in front of me in the queue'
'The female serving me'
'I was chatting to this female'
WTF it's just so weird.
I actually love my MIL and we get on great but why would anyone say this??
