How attractive do you consider yourself to be

For your age, have you aged well, given up, had help, feel inner beauty, always felt ugly, means a lot to you, means nothing to you? Do you have good days, bad days?
Also any tips and advice to share.

if you had the choice would you change your looks or your weight?

Weight definitely, if changing it meant I could eat as much as I wanted and be a size 10 Grin

Whatabloodymessthisis · 10/01/2019 20:05

I’m a 5

Littlechocola · 10/01/2019 20:06

Haven’t had any procedures and probably wouldn’t.

I would change my looks rather than my weight.

sweetkitty · 10/01/2019 20:07

I would be about an 8 if it weren’t for my nose, it’s too big and has a bump like a witches. I’ve always wanted a nose job but never had the money or the courage.

About a 5, I have lovely long blonde hair and nice eyes and am a size 8-10

weegiemum · 10/01/2019 20:18

Invert overweight but have Great skin and hair, I don't think I look nearly 50 and I'm good at putting myself down!

rabbitfoodadvocate · 10/01/2019 20:29

Happy with myself and how I'm ageing. Helps that my DH is a hunk and tells me how gorge I am all the time too! Though he has said that when I'm ill on the sofa, so his judgement might be off...

Ollivander84 · 10/01/2019 20:32

I have Botox. Do some work as a plus size model
Would say I'm a 3-4, below average. I'm like the invisible woman nobody notices

shirleyschmidt · 10/01/2019 20:39

Im tall and slim, and with makeup and a decent hair day I might look an 8 and feel very confident.

Without any makeup I feel totally plain, probably a 5. All hail mascara and bronzer!

Overall happy with how I look and never feel intimated among good looking women, but if I could change anything it would be my hair, which is fine and flat. I'm so envious of people with naturally thick, swish-able hair!

thinkingisharderthandoing · 10/01/2019 20:39

I think I just feel inadequate to most.....

I asked my DH and he said i was a 7. I would have liked him to say a 10 because he's my DH! I do get some men doing double takes but then I think most women do anyway?
I look amazing in the mirror and like a troll in photos so I guess I'm somewhere in between.

Currently, day to day, I think I’m about a 3. Have put on 4 stone since having DD in 2017, and am 7 stone heavier than when I met DH! I feel very unattractive and have really let my appearance go (although have never been big on nails / make up etc).

If going out, I may look about a 4. I have nice dresses that flatter my shape, but I still look frumpy. I have a nice face, no wrinkles (thanks obesity), nice thick hair.

When I weighed about 10 stone I’d say I was an 8. I look back on pictures and I look fantastic!

This year I plan to tackle my weight, to look half decent again, and feel better about myself.

Sipperskipper · 10/01/2019 20:55

Should add, I’m 33, as is DH. He is as close to a 10 as I can get without sounding ridiculous! Very, very handsome, great hair, great style, and takes care of himself. I think people often look at us and wonder what he is doing with me.

staydazzling · 10/01/2019 20:59

im a strong 2, ive definitely not won the genetic lottery and am fat,but im happily married so cant be quasimodo Grin

Rodenhide · 10/01/2019 21:02

6ish? I look quite young for my age and am a healthy weight but have quite broad shoulders and hips and large breasts so I look quite a lot bigger with clothes on than I actually am. I'm 41 and tbh, I'm not awful (still photograph terribly, tho)!

surferjet · 10/01/2019 21:04

I’m very pretty, probably 9/10.
But I’m also very overweight atm so need to deal with that. I used to have a fantastic figure & literally had men following me around the supermarket. It still happens, just not as often.

Whatabloodymessthisis · 10/01/2019 21:14

@surferjet I can’t imagine what it would be like to just know you’re a 9/10. What does it feel like?

Butteredghost · 10/01/2019 21:14

When I look at photos of myself younger, I realise that I was actually much less attractive than I thought I was at the time. And I didn't think I was great but at least passable.

Now I'm not much better. I would say 3/10. I can't do make up or hair styles so no help there.

DH doesn't find my attractive and never has, but that's OK as we get on personality wise. I still cringe at the memory of when I was dressed up and asked him "how do I look today?" and he replied "Why? Do you think you look good?"

I'm trying to lose weight but also just concentrate on the fact that I have a healthy body that gets around. After a terrible pregnancy with hg I appreciate my health more than ever now.

SongforSal · 10/01/2019 21:14

Without sounding like an absolute twatt who is totally up herself. I turn heads. This, however has added no value to my life or self worth.
DP and I have been together for a very long time since 17, i am now 36. Everyone who knows us, will know we are committed.
I get either directly propositioned, or flirted with regularly.
For the record, I am overweight at 5'6 and a size 14, but I have a well proportioned figure. My hair is very long, naturally curly, and female friends always comment on how long my eyelashes are (naturally as long as fake). Anyway, I seem to be pleasant on the eye to people and I'm told I'm beautiful regually. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I take compliments regarding physical appearances with a pinch of salt. I'd rather have a conversation about something that matters, than engage in a conversation regarding any perceived fortunate genetics I may have when I meet people.

jenelleyg · 10/01/2019 21:15

to be fair marilynslumroe (love your username) if he had said 10 I probably would've tutted and rolled my eyes at him Grin. poor man can't win either way.

LuluMelons · 10/01/2019 21:16

Really? If my DH said "10" in response to that question I'd tell him to fuck off for being a sleazy liar

I'd think it odd if your partner didn't think you were a 10. Beauty in eye of beholden and all.

Butteredghost · 10/01/2019 21:18

I’m very pretty, probably 9/10. But I’m also very overweight atm so need to deal with that.

See this is interesting because I'm also overweight but even when thin I'm only a 4-5/10. So I sort of think what's the point. I killed myself dieting and still looked ugly as sin so thats not very motivating.

LuluMelons · 10/01/2019 21:18

DH doesn't find my attractive and never has

Sorry, but that's so sad to read.

Ollivander84 · 10/01/2019 21:21

Is it only me that wants to see photos? Yes I'm nosy

SuziQ10 · 10/01/2019 21:22

It depends.
Generally I feel quite attractive. I'm a slim, 28year old.
My partner is very attractive (used to be a model with a v elite agency) now a lawyer and we often get told what a nice looking couple we make. He gives me confidence! He could be with any beauty but he chose me bless him.

I have my hang ups ... wish my teeth were whiter, my legs and bum bigger, better posture and a boob job would be nice. But on the whole I'm fine with my appearance.
