For some reason I always think mumsnet is a British thing, don't know why. Where are you from? I'm England, southwest.

Manchester originally from the highlands and have lived in Grand Cayman, Devon, London and Hong Kong and of all those lovely places Manchester feels like home Smile

Tho I had a very influential year in Bavaria at 18, two years backpacking across Asia, then 15 years in Queensland, Australia.

So not totally likely to be parochial in my outlook!
