Where do you live?

For some reason I always think mumsnet is a British thing, don't know why. Where are you from? I'm England, southwest.

@Thelonewanderer how do you find that area of the county?
I have always fancied living in Witney I've got friends there and it's a great town but the road and rail links are rubbish. We also looked at Abingdon but it seems to have lost a lot of it's decent shops and no cinema or other entertainment really.
Think I've just convinced myself the ugly town I live in is worth it for the amenities!

Lives now in Canada. It’s ok here. Depends on what you like. Lots of space and the outdoor life then great. It’s not for everyone I don’t think. It’s quite different to British culture. I’m still getting my head around it.
