For some reason I always think mumsnet is a British thing, don't know why. Where are you from? I'm England, southwest.

In a small city eastern Europeanish. The same city where my parents fled from as refugees before I was born.
I was born and brought up in Geordieland though.

It's a small world! Very jealous. I still miss it, the power cuts not so much! But breakfast in "the coffee shop" with the lovely weather, hit the market then walk back to my house, bliss!

@Uptree - bastard men. Well, one man. Came on holiday, met a guy. He was too young, too poor, not my type, I was happy being single - but such is love. That was 39 years ago and still in love :) Have made a good life here, but still miss home, and would like to spend much more time there in the near future.
