We moved here 2 years ago, it is good for the kids but not much going on tbh especially in the winter most places close and the boats are a bit of a nightmare but it is beautiful and really safe for growing up

@Cherylshaw that's sort of how I thought it would be. I've always wondered about jobs there as well as it seems it's mostly touristy or farming related for work. It's the most gorgeous place. DH and I will hopefully be visiting again with DDs and DDog in the summer. We want to do a wee tour of the islands this year. Is Arran a big change from where you're originally from?

@UpTree DH is in tech and I’m in the entertainment industry so work brought us here and we are permanent residents. We'd never intended to stay this long though and I hope to move home once the lay of the land post Brexit is clear
