I’m currently on Weight Watchers and using the pointing system...I bloody love crisps but can’t quite justify the 6 or so points! (Minimum..:I love crisps!)
So what can I swap the crisps for? Or does anyone know of any magic crisps that are v low in points for a reasonable amount?!

French Fries, Squares and Quavers are your best buys on ww points as they are the lowest.

afrikat · 11/01/2019 15:53

Nothing. I have gone cold turkey on them and just trying to forget they exist. It's hard

PeachRose · 11/01/2019 15:53

Just to let you know I am a massive crisp lover and last year I lost 3 stone on the weight watchers point system. You can do it!

Kikipost · 11/01/2019 16:20

Steamed Brussel sprouts dipped in sweet chill sauce

Yes, I’m odd. But i would take that over any crisp any day

Dollygirl2008 · 11/01/2019 17:02

French fries in the multipacks are 2 points
Pom Bears and Aldi version of Teddy Bears are 3 points but feels like loads
Tesco cheapy value crisps (which I love!) in the multipack are also 2 points
Skips, quavers etc all 2 points if they're from multipacks - 3 otherwise.

I hear ya, and I've done the homework!!!!

Crispy seaweed, sweetcorn puffs, yam chips. We live close to a Korean supermarket which sells lots of amazing low calorie snacks. If you have an Asian supermarket you might be able to find similar.

CormoranStrike · 11/01/2019 19:35

I am loving wasabi seaweed at the moment

NannyKasey · 11/01/2019 20:38

You’ve clearly never had a Greggs steak bake...
Agree - would sell my soul for a Greggs steak bake.. and a triple chocolate doughnut Grin

Stormwhale · 11/01/2019 20:44

Roasted chickpeas have a satisfying crunch and are tasty with some seasoning.

PonyoPonyo · 11/01/2019 21:24

Itsu seaweed thins sold at Sainsbury's and presumably Itsu, I have found other brands at Asian grocery stores.

@Kikipost
Ingredients:

•	1 tin (400g) chickpeas in water
•	1 tsp cumin
•	1 tsp cayenne pepper
•	1 tsp garlic salt
•	Pinch of Maldon salt
•	A little spray oil

Method:

1	Pre-heat oven to 180°C (gas mark 4)
2	Drain chickpeas.
3	Lay drained chickpeas flat on a baking sheet and pat dry.
4	Spray with spray oil.
5	Sprinkle spices and salt over the chickpeas and mix until coated.
6	Place in oven and cook for approximately 30 minutes – turning halfway.

Tortilla wrap + houmous or corn dip (by Wicked: expensive but tasty)
Grapes.
Pistachio nuts

DarkDarkNight · 12/01/2019 01:08

Multipacks of Seabrook/McCoys/Walkers etc. are in smaller bags so tend to be around 4 rather than 6 (check as I haven’t done WW in a while).

Also things like Squares, Wotsits, quavers, Ringos, space invaders are low.

elliesm98 · 12/01/2019 07:15

Rice cakes
Hula hoops puffed are supposed to be healthier than normal crisps

Tirtytreeandaturd · 12/01/2019 11:59

Nothing will ever replace crisps but although I LOATHE rice cakes these sweet chilli rice crackers are delicious and only 107 calories for 10. Come in a plain and teriyaki flavour too, available in Tesco, Waitrose and other stores. Biggest problem is trying to stop at eating 10 ( and dipping in mayo, chilli sauce, humous, baked beans, goats cheese etc)🤦‍♀️😂

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/01/2019 13:52

I’ve done some research!

These from Aldi are extremely satisfying (and 3p per bag for WW)

Walkers baked are delicious

Tirtytree I forgot about those! I used to love them!

I shall continue my research and I appreciate all your help!

Now...who can find me a good substitute for a proper Cornish pasty...Grin

x2boys · 12/01/2019 16:13

ChristmasAccountant · 12/01/2019 16:16

Roasted chick peas! Great for ww (or they were when I did it!)

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 21/01/2019 13:37

Btw I think peas snacks are only 2 points.

TeaAddict235 · 21/01/2019 20:34
