I don’t have much two drawers and one wardrobe that’s the size of a regular door
Which is floor to ceiling so big shelf at the tip and space for shoes at the floor
But doesn’t seem much at all to me

I didn't think I had much but I definitely have more than you! A double wardrobe and 2 chests of drawers all to myself. Is there any reason you can't get another wardrobe or set of drawers?

NC4Now · 10/01/2019 08:40

I’ve got a wardrobe with two drawers under and a chest of drawers. It’s still not really enough.
I’m single and have wondered how I’d manage if I had a partner as there’s no more room in my bedroom.

Pretyui · 10/01/2019 08:40

I have a chest of IKEA drawers, I don't have any thing that needs hanging up so Dh uses the wardrobe for shirts.

itsboiledeggsagain · 10/01/2019 08:42

3 drawers and 50cm of wardrobe.

There is another metre empty but kondo..

dogmum0 · 10/01/2019 08:49

I spend way too much money on clothes and am a bit of a clothes hoarder! Two and a half double wardrobes, two sets of drawers and two ottoman beds isn't nearly enough space :(

Doodlebug5 · 10/01/2019 08:57

3 double wardrobes (I have a walk in closet) 3 chest of drawers and 2 floor to ceiling shelved units... oh and a cupboard for shoes and handbags

pickingdaisies · 10/01/2019 09:02

I've got a doors worth of hanging space (built in cupboard) plus 50cm of an IKEA wardrobe hanging space. Lots of drawer storage though. Which is never enough, and I keep coats in the understairs cupboard, and out of season clothes are shoved away in boxes. I can never find a good way to store brand and jumpers, they all end up in a tangled pile on the chair

Wavingwhiledrowning · 10/01/2019 09:05

One chest of drawers (5 drawers but none are deep) and a shelf in a double wardrobe for jumpers etc. We don't hang anything up so DH converted a wardrobe into a cupboard with shelves for jumpers etc. It's fab! Also a shelf in a shoe cupboard.
To be honest I could get away with less space as it feels like I only ever wear the same few things.

Megan2018 · 10/01/2019 09:10

Loads as me and DH have a bedroom each (luxury I know - only the 2 of us and 3 large beds).

I have about 2.5 metres of wardrobe space and 2 big chests of drawers - it is not full though and I am going to get rid of one chest.

DH has the same in "his" room.

Pretyui · 10/01/2019 09:13

Shock you are living the dream! feeling murderous this morning after a night of listening to snoring loud enough tjat it was probably heard all over Scotland!

kalefire · 10/01/2019 09:18

I have a three door wardrobe with an extra 1 door for long hanging things. One wide chest of drawers with four drawers. Which sounds like a lot but it pales in comparison to DH's 8 doors worth of wardrobes and 8 wide drawers!

Crimson72 · 10/01/2019 09:20

Same as you OP - I have a capsule wardrobe Wink

Seriously though, the lack of space stops me buying too many clothes I can't afford - which has got to be a good thing!

Ragwort · 10/01/2019 09:23

Also have a separate bedroom to DH, Grin, I have a walk in wardrobe, almost a small room Blush, not that it contains many clothes as I am not particularly interested in clothes but it does have all sorts of junk. DH has two full size fitted wardrobes to himself, although that does house our large collection of photo albums as well.

LardLizard · 10/01/2019 09:31

Why do you guys have separate rooms
Kinda sounds good as dh was tossing and turning. Last night
But I think I’d miss the cuddles

I need to remove some stuff that Either doesn’t fit or I don’t use

64 full size drawers and 4 double wardrobes

I am having a 'no buy' 2019 Blush

Megan2018 · 10/01/2019 09:37

@LardLizard

I have a sleep disorder/parasomnia so most of the time we sleep separately in the week - so we have 2 master bedrooms. DH drives as part of his job and needs to be 100% alert - my nocturnal activities are not compatible with this!

Even when we slept in the same room though we still had a bedroom each for clothes as we have enough space - it'd be daft to cram everything into 1 bedroom when you have 3.

As it is we have 2 Superking bedrooms and 1 double - so we get a huge bed each which I have to share with 3 cats so they hog all the bloody duvet

LardLizard · 10/01/2019 09:43

Oh I like the idea sleeping in a bed all by myself with cats !!

64 drawers ! How do you Remmeber what’s where

Glitteryfrog · 10/01/2019 09:47

2.5m hanging space and four 1m wide drawers and a jewelry drawer.

LardLizard · 10/01/2019 09:48

Right I’m actually measuring mine

I knew I was hard done by !!!

64 full size drawers and 4 double wardrobes

What do you wear on an average day? I'm imagining very glamorous clothes?
I work from home and outdoors a lot, hence no need to hang anything in the wardrobe! I live in holey tshirts and tracksuits! Grin

gamerwidow · 10/01/2019 09:52

I have a 3 door wardrobe, and 6 drawers.
DH has half of DDs two door wardrobe and 2 drawers.
We’re moving soon to a place with big fitted wardrobes so I will let him share wardrobe space with me.

Sitranced · 10/01/2019 09:56

1 single but very tall and deep wardrobe (Ikea Andeboda) 3 shelves at the bottom and a rail across the top. It holds all of my clothes, shoes, bags, scarves. My coats are the only things not stored in there.

Unihorn · 10/01/2019 09:59

I have the same as you OP which is more than enough for me. The amount of space some posters have filled with clothes is making me feel a bit anxious after watching/reading Marie Kondo!

LaurieFairyCake · 10/01/2019 10:00

I've got one wardrobe of coats, one of cardigans and 2 of dresses. Not glamorous in any way Grin

Probably about 200 pairs of shoes/boots and 40 handbags
