I don’t have much two drawers and one wardrobe that’s the size of a regular door
Which is floor to ceiling so big shelf at the tip and space for shoes at the floor
But doesn’t seem much at all to me

Half a ridiculously massive floor to ceiling ikea wardrobe can't remember what it's called but the previous owners left it here and we haven't got round to getting rid in the 15 years we've been here. It's HUGE the whole width of our room.

And a four drawer chest.

babysharkah · 10/01/2019 10:03

Pax, it's called Pax.
And I have a rail in the lift that has coats in the summer and a load of clothes I may one day fit into again!

Fashionista101 · 10/01/2019 10:08

3 triple wardrobes, a chest of drawers. My poor handbags are stored in dust bags in box things from IKEA under the bed/bottom of a wardrobe for smaller ones. Shoes are in a purpose built cupboard under the stairs (actually more of a room) as I love shoes more than my DF. I do need to address the poor handbags though.

A double and a single wardrobe (floor to ceiling) and a couple of large drawers.

However I have all my summer clothes in the loft. That's another wardrobe full as we were spending 6 months a year in Spain until now so I have rather a lot of summer dresses, vests and shorts that I wouldn't have had otherwise. How much they'll get worn now is anyone's guess.Sad

10 ft hanging space 5 shelves 2 large drawer units. I was pleased that I had reduced stock of clothes but it still sounds a lot.

Oly4 · 10/01/2019 10:20

Two
Double wardrobes, an extra single wardrobe with shelves and two chests of drawers

MeetOnTheledge · 10/01/2019 10:22

1m wide wardrobe, four 1m wide drawers and four 30 cm wide drawers plus storage in an ottoman bed for out of season stuff, shoes and bags only used occasionally. I thought that was quite a lot till I read this thread!

caesio · 10/01/2019 10:34

I have a dressing room Blush Its fabulous, previous house used to keep stuff in plastic boxes under bed and on top of cupboards. Here its all out, about 3m of hanging space and 25 draws. All mine. Grin

Those wondering how I afford to fill it all, 90% of its bought second hand off Ebay. I buy "worn a couple of times" stuff off season for peanuts £2-10 range.

MrsPear · 10/01/2019 10:36

One single wardrobe ie half a standard with a single door. No shelf just rail. 2 half drawers and 2 long drawers. When the seasons change I swap clothes over. Bags and naice shoes on top of wardrobe. Daily coats and shoes downstairs in hall cupboard. Shoes get swapped round too. Dressy clothes are in the loft with non seasonal stuff.

About a normal door sized wardrobe with 6 drawers and 2 shelves

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 10/01/2019 17:39

I've got a dressing room that leads into an ensuite and dh is banned!
There's 3 double drawers and I hang everything according to colour, it's so much easier than rummaging if I want, for instance, a blue jumper.
Also got a 3 drawer bedside and 2 of the 3 drawers in the unit in the main bedroom.
I keep my coats in the under stairs cupboard.

7ft wide built in wardrobe, that also has a chest of drawers and a couple of those plastic drawer sets in. Bedside drawers

OH has a 5.5ft wardrobe

Nedzilla · 11/01/2019 15:45

Not much. 1/2 a wardrobe space (share with dh)
and 2 small shelves

Its a triple wardrobe with two doors hanging space, and one door has 4 small shelves if that makes sense. Which dh and I have to fit everything in between us. No separate drawers.

Its a bit too small tbh, but anything else would take up any leftover space in bedroom. Im hoping to change to an ikea pax triple at some point as they are taller and can have more combinations.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 11/01/2019 15:52

Just under 2m of rails and 2x 1m drawers. DH has the same. We have a bedside cabinet each too.

We got 150 matching slim velvet effect clothes hangers from Amazon and we get so much more in the wardrobe now. Definitely worth the investment.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 11/01/2019 15:55

@Nedzilla we loved our Pax wardrobes but be prepared for a huge amount of space to build them, the back board was a pig and you might benefit from some extra pairs of hands to get the frame in place. Insides were easy though.

tierraJ · 11/01/2019 17:30

I have 3 double wardrobes & several drawers.

But I'd happily give up the space to hsve my own husband & child.

adaline · 11/01/2019 17:33

A double wardrobe with hanging space and three shelves, plus three drawers as well. And half a shoe cupboard!

Tr1skel1on · 11/01/2019 17:36

I have a 3 drawer chest of drawers and a small bedside cabinet. Thats it. I have 1 smart dress I hang in dd's wardrobe and my small amount of shoes live in the porch.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 11/01/2019 17:42

There are 6 50cm PAX units in this household of 4 more or less adults.
They house, apart from 'normal clothing"(underwear, socks, trousers, tops and shirts for all seasons), bedlinen, seasonal shoes, coats and winterwear and handbags. My own things take up less than 1,5 of these units.

Krouse64 · 11/01/2019 17:44

Dressing room and 3 wardrobes and rail in the loft, but in my defence I work in fashion and get given loads of freebies. My friends love it

GemmeFatale · 11/01/2019 17:53

Half a standard two door wardrobe (share with DH) with a three drawer Ikea single width drawer unit under the hanging rail.

We have a shoe rack and four or five coat hocks downstairs in the understairs cupboard and an underbed drawer each that really we don’t need.

Somehow I still have way too much clothing. I’m hanging onto my office clothes ‘just in case’ despite not needing them for the last four years.
