M6 incident j16 - anyone else?

Arghhhhhh. Stuck in the m6 j16 chaos. Been here 2 hours now. Motorway shut both ways while police apparently look for 27 people who have jumped off a lorry and onto the motorway and surrounding fields. Dying to go all Dunkirk spirit and exchange pleasantries with other traffic jammers but daren’t get out in case I get mistaken for an escapee. All I’ve got to eat is a vegan protein bar when I would actually very much like a Cadbury’s Twirl. Even a Terry’s Chocolate Orange would do and I detest them under normal non-siege conditions #ThanksForNothingVeganuary

I’m always surprised more people don’t use more china cups out of the home. I usually make one at work for the way home too. Get some strange looks occasionally but hoping it will catch on one day and cup holders will have a little slot for the handle.

Have you read the St Mary's series? Okay, it's about time travel, but proper tea is considered essential, and the problems of finding toilet facilities for those of the female persuasion are a common theme.

I am originally from Burton on Trent, who were utterly thrashed by Man City 9-0 tonight. Apparently quite a lot of Burton fans were stuck on the M6 and missed at least part of the match, which they are probably quite happy about now :o

I’n Not the only person with a car coat! Have been doing 16 hour round trips for the last year and a half & always take my really warm high viz riding jacket. Dh takes the piss each time.

I'm a coffee drinker and have bone China at work and at friends houses that I visit regularly it just tastes better!
