Am a crap lazy present buyer. Much prefer to throw money at it but I can't do that this time.

Budget around 50 quid

Any clues on what she’s interested in and where she is?

TSSDNCOP · 07/01/2019 19:16

I was bought a voucher for a fancy restaurant for lunch for mine. It was a groupon deal, so the buyer did really well. I’m really looking forward to it, nice opportunity to try somewhere new.

I was also bought a Clarins facial which I can’t wait to try.

CATTY15 · 07/01/2019 19:23

I did a photo book for mine, with pictures from baby right through to current day.
With family, wedding, graduation, holidays etc.
Took me ages but it's really nice 😊

Iloveantiques · 07/01/2019 19:23

Is that you Julie? I don't want anything 🤣

Screamqueenz · 07/01/2019 19:30

We need more info on your sister and her interests.

I'm love a facial or massage, or a lovely scented candle, but many people wouldn't.

I'd go for an experience rather than an item, by 50 our houses are usually already full to bursting of "stuff".

Screamqueenz · 07/01/2019 19:31

Sorry just realised the budget is 50, not that she is 50 Blush

Screamqueenz · 07/01/2019 19:32

Oh, it's both (focus more scream) Grin

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 07/01/2019 19:32

Please no more face cream and face masks. Or exfoliant. I know who you are (fekkosister) 🤨

RJnomore1 · 07/01/2019 19:33

Tell us a wee bit about her?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 07/01/2019 19:33

She likes diamonds, chocolate and booze.

PurpleWithRed · 07/01/2019 19:35

An Experience - if you live near Wimbledon then Look Fabulous Forever makeup lesson (although she may feel that’s a bit old for her!). One of those afternoon teas, trip up the shard.

TSSDNCOP · 07/01/2019 19:38

Nice try Fekko but I think you’re diamonds are buggered on a £50 budget.

AnyFucker · 07/01/2019 20:09

She likes animals, cocktails and travel

Maybe a print out of this thread and £50 in cash Grin ?

Aridane · 07/01/2019 20:14

CATTY'S photo book is lovely but not good for a lazy present buyer

Aridane · 07/01/2019 20:16

Ooh - what about a cocktail micro bar - not this one, something classier / more expensive, but you get the drift

Aridane · 07/01/2019 20:17

Or throw money st the gorgeous hampers on the Virginia Hayward website. They're amazing and very well presented

Aridane · 07/01/2019 20:18

Failed g which an outrageously lush, exotic and decadent multi stemmed or hit in a ceramic bowl. The floral equivalent of a super expensive candle, as it were

PaddingtonMare · 07/01/2019 20:18

Could you frame some prints of her travels and make a gallon or two of sex on the beach?

RomaineCalm · 07/01/2019 20:19

I would go for jewellery of some sort. Have a look at the Swarovski website, it may not be everyone's taste but there lots of nice bracelets and pendants that are reduced at the moment so you'll get more for your budget.

PaddingtonMare · 07/01/2019 20:19

Atlas obscures is a great book for people who love travelling off the beaten track.

Monny1 · 07/01/2019 20:20

Look on groupon and see if there any deals on making cocktails maybe for two people. Adopt an animal for her. A necklace with her initial on it.

Shadow1986 · 07/01/2019 20:22

A champagne afternoon tea at a local hotel.

A photo album of photos from last 50 years (probably a bit time consuming)

Set of fancy cocktail glasses?

Champagne flutes, you can get special ones that stay cold.

Earrings.

Necklace.

Bracelet.

Beauty treatment - full body massage for example.

Hamper - perfume, bath things, chocolates, photo frame.

Handbag.

Just some ideas.
