Am a crap lazy present buyer. Much prefer to throw money at it but I can't do that this time.

Budget around 50 quid

Would she want a gift for her?
Or, if she likes animals, you could adopt an animal for her eg a monkey at Monkey World in Dorset (you can chose from lots of different ones). She also gets a free 12 month pass plus other stuff too.

Subscription to flower delivery?

(Thanks for helping me out with the tosser about 10 years ago btw - I did leave him Grin)

If it's the person I know who is turning 50 later this month, then a case of wine is the best bet ....

AnyFucker · 07/01/2019 21:39

I am sure there are lots of folks turning 50 soon

But yeah... case of wine Wine

Girls night in? Mani pedis, watching a marathon of 80s films like the breakfast club or something you used to watch together and lots of cocktails?

EducatingSweary · 07/01/2019 21:45

imo the best thing would be time spent with her sister

afternoon tea

Take her out for cocktails and get her a bunch of flowers.

Nothing she has to store or keep. If she wanted it, she would have bought it already.

I'm 50 this year and this is completely true.

If you want to buy her a keepsake these are nice www.freedomtravelgear.com/products/deluxe-personalised-world-travel-scratch-map?variant=43996924938&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItNG2kuHc3wIVirztCh2AygjfEAQYAiABEgKTkPD_BwE and then you could buy gift vouchers for travel. There are lots of different ones available - ones like this to keep in a drawer or larger ones she could have up.
