HElp! Most comfortable knickers of all time?

Lavendersoap5 · 07/01/2019 11:24

I am sick and tired of buying uncomfortable knickers.

What are the most comfy knickers of all time? Ones that don’t ride up or dig in. I don’t need any lace on them or any silly trimmings. Just some pure cotton, comfy pants. Is that too much to ask?!

(Just bought some M&S midi ones and the lace on them is digging into one side of me.)

Arg!

Don’t even care if they’re expensive. I don’t need them to be pretty. I just want some super comfy pants!

Boux Avenue, Tatiana short 🥰🥰 all the hearts! They do all different prints, I just buy them when they have the 70% off sale, 8 or so pairs all the same print

I'm a fairly recent convert to big pants, until a couple of years ago I was in thongs and bikini briefs. La redoute do lots of nice cotton pants, but they seem to have stopped doing the ones I really liked, sloggi black cotton big pants in a size bigger are my favourite at the moment.

Sloggi

I'm intrigued now, what are pillow case pants?

Lavendersoap5 · 07/01/2019 20:21

This is SO HELPFUL! I’m going to order a few different to experiment. Thank you! Thank you!

Great tip - sizing up. I had been worried they’d sag down, but I’m sick of stupid bits of lace digging in, so maybe I need a size bigger than my trousers usually are.

(Also curious about pillow case pants!)

Molke have been recommended on here in the past. I like the look of them, but have not tried them.

Pobblit · 07/01/2019 20:36

Primarily full briefs. Plain cotton, plain black. Simple and so comfy. They've been a total game changer for me.

My mum recommend them BlushGrin

Pobblit · 07/01/2019 20:37

Primarily?! PRIMARK!

vodkaanddietcokeplease · 07/01/2019 20:37

I like Matalan briefs, in a size up to what you would usually buy Smile blissful pants!

KittyMcKitty · 07/01/2019 20:38

I have m&s seam free midi in modal and they are fantastic- my best pants ever!!

Myoldfriend · 07/01/2019 20:40

M&S microfibre boy shorts. Its like wearing no pants at all.

IHaveBrilloHair · 07/01/2019 21:07

Superdry bikinis, for everyday and plain black cotton thongs from Primark for when they'd show.

I just can't wear those big pants, they are just so bigGrin I'm 5 foot and a size 6-8 and they are bigger than some of my skirts!

Winkybum · 07/01/2019 21:25

I am loving matalan full knickers.

Stevienickssleeves · 07/01/2019 21:28

I for one despise the Asda pants, they are made of some synthetic plasticy fabric that makes you feel sweaty and clammy (at least my sizeable arse does). I like debenhams ones.

Offredismysister · 07/01/2019 21:38

Calvin Klein radiant cotton briefs are well worth the money, last forever & wash well.

Always get the ones with the silver band on, not white as colours run.

Celeriacacaca · 07/01/2019 21:41

Multipack M and S cotton full pant with soft lace top - so comfy.

Waterlemon · 07/01/2019 22:00

All I want are decent, full cotton, high leg knickers that sit just below my belly button and have enough width that They don’t ride up!

Just like M&S used to do about 10 years ago! But sadly their high legs are too skimpy and short now, and rarely cotton!

Sloggies are ok, but sit a bit short on me. I have some high waisted uniqlo shorts that are comfy, but I’d prefer a simple high leg.

I dont find bikini or midi at all flattering and I’m not ready to jump into the granny full pants just yet!

ps1991 · 07/01/2019 22:01

M&S bikini are my go to!!

hoppybee · 07/01/2019 22:09

"Mini briefs" from Tesco.
I do not wear any others!!!

minipie · 07/01/2019 22:13

Gap low rise bikini. Either the breathe version mentioned above or they do cotton ones too (I prefer cotton).

I am ample of bum and every other pair of pants ever has ridden up and given me a wedgie. These do not despite no strong elastic (just flat tape type trim). I love them sooo much.

Snog · 07/01/2019 22:18

Victoria's Secret.

Even the lace ones are comfy

messyhousetidymind · 07/01/2019 22:29

@Wellhellojonsnow
Interesting link. I'm square and like a high leg so that fits

Cupcake4u · 07/01/2019 22:31

I've found Debenhams cotton midis , I'd say they are like little girls underwear , fit perfectly over your bum and don't ride up , I'm technically a size 8 but always buy a size 12 underwear

MunchMunch · 07/01/2019 22:33

Can't beat a pair of belly warmers!

I'm fat so wearing anything other than full knickers is just wrong and uncomfortable!
