HElp! Most comfortable knickers of all time?

Lavendersoap5 · 07/01/2019 11:24

I am sick and tired of buying uncomfortable knickers.

What are the most comfy knickers of all time? Ones that don’t ride up or dig in. I don’t need any lace on them or any silly trimmings. Just some pure cotton, comfy pants. Is that too much to ask?!

(Just bought some M&S midi ones and the lace on them is digging into one side of me.)

Arg!

Don’t even care if they’re expensive. I don’t need them to be pretty. I just want some super comfy pants!

These M&S high legs with modal are the most comfortable pants I've had in ages. They are not as skimpy as they look in the photo. They stay put, are very soft and wash well (practical, me).

Raspberry88 · 07/01/2019 13:12

I've been wearing men's pants for years...Asda or m&s trunks I find the comfiest. I find that the bigger women's pants are too high on my tummy as I'm quite short.

Tu, not bad, sloggis better. People make their own knickers?

@DustyMaiden yes, it seems odd, but I see as much of my wardrobe as I can. On the sewing Facebook groups I'm on a lot sew their own lingerie so I thought I'd have a go. Turns out they're awesome, and the ones I reach for before any others., especially the ones with mesh on the sides and a galaxy print front and back. Love them Grin

Justanothernamechange2 · 07/01/2019 13:36

TU by sainsburys for sure. Ive had some big some small some expensive some cheap.. but ALWAYS go back to sainsburys. Both their full brief and their shorts are ever so comfy + i think generously sized

DustyMaiden · 07/01/2019 13:41

Mimiasovitch, I’ll have to give that a try.

marmaladecats · 07/01/2019 13:45

Next high legs briefs. Five pack for £8. Just bought my second pack.

FlorencePetal · 07/01/2019 13:54

Anyone have a scrundies pattern?

Also what material do you use

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 07/01/2019 13:54

Size up it's the only way

Yes. I swear by M&S bkinis in one size larger than I normally wear for trousers.

beforeihit30 · 07/01/2019 14:02

Yes to M&S modal - something about the fabric makes them much comfier. I like these. Definitely my best ones, and even though they’re not ‘pretty’ they’re not ugly either and you can get them in various colours/patterns if inclined anyway.

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 07/01/2019 14:03

Sainsbury's shorts, a size up.

beforeihit30 · 07/01/2019 14:04

(They also don’t fall down, or ride up, or irritate, and they last ages)

Wellhellojonsnow · 07/01/2019 14:04

Apparently it depends on your bum type...

www.cosabella.com/blog/best-panties-booty-type/

It does agree with my shape and what I find comfy.

AlanThePig · 07/01/2019 14:09

Victorias Secret boy shorts. So bloody comfy!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 07/01/2019 14:11

Another vote for Mardy Bum Grin (I think that they are Scrundies?)

drspouse · 07/01/2019 14:16

I find that cotton lycra knit is best for both the body and the band (they say ribbing but I find it gives way too soon).

Abouttime1978 · 07/01/2019 14:20

Victoria secret cotton "cheekies". They sound awful but they are so comfy, they don't dig in and you can basically forget you are wearing them.

I love love love them- and they are pretty too, bonus x

Twotabbycats · 07/01/2019 14:23

I love Sloggi Midis. They are cotton with some stretch. Decent coverage and last well.

I gave up on M&S as I just don't seem to be the right shape for them.

QuestionableMouse · 07/01/2019 14:24

I buy full knickers from M&S but cut the elastic off. They don't budge and they're so much more comfortable.

babysharkah · 07/01/2019 14:38

M&S Brazilians. So comfy.

cantfindname · 07/01/2019 15:24

DragonMama I agree, I bought some of those last week and they are lovely. And so cheap. Win/win.

paap1975 · 07/01/2019 15:28

I have some Chantelle ones. Super stretchy and I can't even feel I have them on. Best knickers ever! They aren't cotton though

Omzlas · 07/01/2019 15:29

M&S pillow case pants - bought them when I was pregnant and never looked back. I recently bought some more and my youngest is 2.5 and I was pregnant with 4.5 yr old when I first bought M&S Blush

carrie74 · 07/01/2019 15:41

Victoria's Secret hiphuggers or bikinis for me - only the cotton ones, not the ones with lace. I've been wearing these for years now (used to bulk buy when on holiday in US).
