Totally frivolous thread. Looking for inspiration of 2019 great purchases (unlike my 2017 spiralizer that is still in the box).

My purchases that I loved in 2018:

Water-Pik (tooth flosser that pulses water onto teeth)

Apple Watch (I love being able to go shopping and not even take out wallet or phone)

Agog at how many people could afford an Airwrap, Shock

BartonHollow · 07/01/2019 22:02

@TheRollingCrone

It was one there was a thread about a while back.

The girl in the YouTube video was screaming with the pain and claimed it had bruised her face

Bought it anyway - hasn't wholly cleared my nose but has done a good job and you can see the dirt that comes out

Absolutely no pain bruises or screaming used sensibly and according to guidance Hmm

stinkypoo · 07/01/2019 22:20

MrsBungle · 07/01/2019 22:31

Cordless dyson - revolutionised my life!

gruffaloshmuffalo · 07/01/2019 22:32

Nintendo Switch. It has been well worth the money.

4yearsnosleep · 07/01/2019 22:54

@stinkypoo mine is the Lakeland one, it's a mix of colours, but mostly grey

rackhampearl · 07/01/2019 23:02

Aussie 3 Miracle Hair Oil - I have spent $$$ on high end hair products trying to reconstruct and repair damage from bleaching but this little gem works wonders. I almost can't believe how healthy my hair looks after years of trying.

Fitbit Versa - Gets me going when I'm being abit lazy

Perello Gordal Olives from Ocado - Olives for gods!

President Squirty Cream. I've found all other squirty creams for my beloved Hot chocolate treat leave a greasiness in my drink/mug, this melts away perfectly making my hot choc perfectly creamy and perfect.

rackhampearl · 07/01/2019 23:04

Oh and massively long sausage roll shaped hot water bottle from Dunelm. It heats me all over when I'm having a bad pain day! It's my prized possession at the mo!

Rafabella · 08/01/2019 00:04

A hunter rubber rain jacket and isle jacobssen wellies. The latter being quite possibly the best things I have bought. Ever.

SpaceCadet4000 · 08/01/2019 00:16

A lambswool pashmina from Mcnutt of Donegal.

KitchenAid mixer.

Rip off Aldi Instant Pot.

Tolleshunt · 08/01/2019 00:18

So many things to try from this thread!

My instant pot. Gamechanger.

Littlechocola · 08/01/2019 00:22

Shark vacuum and velida spinny mop. Game changers.

Sheepskin mattress topper zzz

500internalerror · 08/01/2019 00:28

Morrison’s own brand biros - they write so smoothly!
And a superb sleeping bag, really cosy.
And a Chilly bottle.

Harebellmeadow · 08/01/2019 00:32

SIGG and Thermos steel vaccum bottles kept drinks icecold for hours in the heatwave had to refill 4x a day but constant freezing water (I know its not good for you but it was soooo hot)
Switched from liquid soap and shower gel to a british made natural (cold pressed and matured in a soap cellar) soap bar brand and it makes such a difference that we barely have to moisturise. Found out what crap dov.e etc are. Found my fav - one made with loads of shea butter and natural scents and use it on the kids too. They had a sale on so I stocked up and its like magic!!!

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 08/01/2019 00:34

Alexa and chromecast. A bit late in the game but love both of them.

Tolleshunt · 08/01/2019 01:14

Harebell which soap company is it that you use? I love cold pressed handmade soap, and am always looking for recommendations.

7salmonswimming · 08/01/2019 02:16

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 08/01/2019 02:21

Soup maker, love it, and one of the only kitchen gadgets regularly used

NorthEndGal · 08/01/2019 02:22

My kallax 😍

Racecardriver · 08/01/2019 02:23

Keep cup has been good. Also finally gave up and bought a back pack. Very useful.

Klobluchar · 08/01/2019 02:47

The heated throws- I bought one about 5 years ago and it was very stiff and I could feel the wiring in it. It was also quite small so i took it back. Are the ones everyone talking about here much improved on that? I do hope so as I love the idea of them. Ideally they would be just like a normal throw but.... heated
