Anyone still around from the olden days ??

i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

I have been here since 2005 but had a load of names.
I also think about posters like OJ, Maude's mum, and biscuitsandbandages amongst others. I have had so much support from the SN boards so thanks to everyone who helped me over the years

Yes it was Stratters with Mortimer the raven who turned out to be female.

Presume banned posters can revregister hence all the PBP deletion messages.

@Saisong, me too! I thought you meant some kind of secret forum spin off and I was feeling a bit miffed abut the possibility of such a thing as I was quite a prolific poster on there :-) Phew! I should have a little faith as it was such a lovely community.

@ahCheeses ... I went on a school trip with dd when she was about 5. The kids kept saying ‘Mrs X Mrs X can you/can I/etc’ and shrieking my name.
I said oh my word, can you all stop calling me Mrs X! (I meant stfu keep yelling my name over and over to get my attention)
Innocent 5 yr old replies ‘well what shall we call you then?’
I stupidly said (groan big mistake) just call me your majesty

I joined in 2006 but was serin with a small s then. Mumsnet has been amazingly supportive to me. I have learned so much and the phrase "that doesn't work for me" is my default setting now

I hate being called Mrs X on school trips...
One little boy in DS class shouts 'hi Mrs X' everyone he sees me now after being in my group on a school trip. It's cute but it makes me feel so old! 😁

@ssd I'm friends with Welshboris on FB. She has two gorgeous little boys in addition to her daughter ( now a teenager).

You see, I was sure I'd read that they were from Oldham, but when I commented on a thread once about bunnies Rhubarb gave me a and said she had no idea what I was talking about.
