I've never seen it. From your reaction I gather I've missed out!

peachypetite · 01/01/2019 19:38

I love it too!

JeremyCorbynsBeard · 01/01/2019 19:38

Once. And that was one time too many

hugoagogo · 01/01/2019 19:39

2 or 3 times, we sometimes think about putting it on, but it's too long for a school night. Grin

Mainchanger · 01/01/2019 19:39

Loads of times. Watching it again now!

selepele · 01/01/2019 19:39

Not as many as I have seen Dirty Dancing (that was on last night) ..
Challenge you to Google the movie goofs it has though. . Watched some on DD I hasn't ever noticed!

SgtFredColon · 01/01/2019 19:40

No idea but loads? Saw it twice in the cinema when it came out, and on the 20th anniversary and millions of times in between!

Soubriquet · 01/01/2019 19:40

Too many and I still cry

It’s the mother tucking her children to sleep that sets me off

And the elderly couple hugging

And now I’m tearing up thinking about it

SgtFredColon · 01/01/2019 19:40

I love Leo

Sparklingbrook · 01/01/2019 19:42

Not seen it. But feel I must have if you put all the clips I have seen togethe and all the debate about how much room was on that door. Plus I already know how it ends. Grin

BikeRunSki · 01/01/2019 19:44

Once, on video on a tiny tv in about 2000. Fell asleep before the end.

LadyMarmyLard · 01/01/2019 19:46

At least ten times I think.
I was 11 when it came out, it's not my favourite film but it really affected me and I still think about it!

Apparently it was massive in Afghanistan, people were naming their kids jack and rose. It really took over globally.
And that bloody Celine dion song.. Christ I don't miss that. It was played to death!

zenasfuck · 02/01/2019 00:19

spoiler alert*

The ship sinks at the end 😢

GunpowderGelatine · 02/01/2019 00:21

Probably about 50 times Blush the first time being a Leo obsessed fan when it was on in the cinema 22 years ago!

Stephisaur · 02/01/2019 00:23

A fair few times.

Was it on channel 5 last night? I saw it was on E4, there was clearly no escaping it!

DH hates it, so we watched some stuff on catch up but I do love it. First watched it with my sister on VHS when I was 6/7.

there was room for 2 on that door

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 02/01/2019 00:24

Once. At the cinema. I hated it then but might watch it again as one of my kids is obsessed with the Titanic!

MarcieBluebell · 02/01/2019 00:25

Loads of times though not for ages until tonight. Omfg it's too much. It's heartwrenching which is why normally I only watch the first half!

Deadringer · 02/01/2019 00:27

Once but I fell asleep about half way through and have never been tempted to watch it again.

Despondency · 02/01/2019 00:30

Once, in the cinema, and I only stayed because there were dozens of weeping people between me and the aisle on both sides. I thought the boat would never sink.

It’s offensively bad, and Leonardo Di Caprio looks like a baby potato with a quiff.

Davros · 02/01/2019 00:32

It's awful. A Night to Remember with Kenneth More is much better as is Titanic starring Clifton Webb and Barbara Stanwych

Eminybob · 02/01/2019 00:35

Bloody hundreds of times. I watched most of it tonight but went to bed before it finished as I can’t watch the ending it upsets me too much.

InAPreviousLife · 02/01/2019 00:45

Once. Almost 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Only watched because my boyfriend at the time was trying to be all romantic and booked for us to see in the cinema. I'd have been far happier with the Bond film out at the same time!

NikiFree · 02/01/2019 00:47

Once was enough when it came out.

We nicknamed it floaty floaty floaty sink. That's all that happens along with a silly love backstory

LostPlatypus · 02/01/2019 01:10

Never. I've seen bits of it and that's more than enough for me. It's just really not my type of film.

I've also only seen part of Notting Hill, much to my parents disgust (they love it - I gave up about 10 mins in).
