It's the festive period where the days just merge...I had to look at a calendar to see that it was Saturday.
Today I'm trying to get us back into some kind of routine so, pancakes for breakfast and washing machine on.
We have tickets to the theatre later to break the day up. What is everyone else up to?

Bouncing on my exercise ball all day to try and get my overdue baby out!

lucysmam · 29/12/2018 11:41

Having an hour sorting dd2's bedroom shortly. We did dd1's on Thursday & removed a bag of junk plus a bag full of recycling Shock.

After that, dd2 wants to do something she got for her birthday yesterday but hasn't decided which kit to open yet. Dd1 has vanished to play on the x-box for a while.

No idea for later, probably not a lot really. Last of the nibbley bits for tea though I think then back to normal cooking tomorrow with a home made pie.

@SoyDora good luck!

adultcat · 29/12/2018 11:43

I'm having a nightmare at work... On my own and the card machines have gone down Shock

Ragevibration · 29/12/2018 11:44

Packing to go to Amsterdam tomorrow for New Years and not very much else...

You're right about all the days merging into one, I thought it was Wednesday yesterday.

Thankfully I've done all my cleaning and washing. Might go to the shop for basics for my mum who is coming to stay to look after the dogs

anothermansmother · 29/12/2018 11:46

@soydora good luck getting that baby out. If it's much longer it could be the first baby of 2019.
@adultcat good luck with the card machine. Lone working on days like that are rubbish.

DH has gone out to test drive a car he might be getting. I'm doing a fee jobs round the house and just made some soup for lunch, so feeling like I'm winning at being a mum for now.

Cheesymonster · 29/12/2018 12:16

Waiting in for a delivery. So bored. Watching films (currently The Mummy) while DD does her new sequin art thing she got for Christmas. On the plus side I've got loads of laundry done!

weegiemum · 29/12/2018 12:25

Going out for lunch soon. Posh lunch as it's our 24th wedding anniversary today. Feels like yesterday!

AFingerofFudge · 29/12/2018 12:28

It's my birthday today and I started the day with bootcamp, followed by bacon rolls with the family. Just about to fully embrace the Christmas spirit and lie around watching telly and eating crap food Grin
Have been so busy with entertaining and going to work that I haven't done that yet, so Christmas is definitely still here in this house.

GinTimeAtHome · 29/12/2018 12:29

Just picked up the kids some new school uniform...both have grown 2 inches since the last week of August!

Now sat at home debating on doing some housework

ScouseQueen · 29/12/2018 12:32

Day of lying around, TV and eating here. Has been doing stuff and seeing relatives till now. I love this bit of Christmas.

LeonoraFlorence · 29/12/2018 12:33

Taking 3 DDs to cinema with my friend and her 2 DDs. Littlest 2 staying with DH and friends DH where they’re building new swing set for garden/watching football I’m sure. Will pick up takeaway pizza on way home and DD1 says they’re having a disco tonight!

Cassimin · 29/12/2018 12:34

Should be at contact with my foster child, parents changed date from last week. Have just rang to change date again,1 hour before we were supposed to meet!
I said no, I’ve got work next week, giving them a few more hours to sort themselves out.
The joys of being a foster carer

Apple0301 · 29/12/2018 12:43

Kids got us up later today so we got a lie in Grin
Now just pottering around the house, doing odd jobs and tackling washing all the bedding while the kids are occupied!
When dh gets back from the garage I’m off to Ikea to buy an emergency table for hosting on nye, will probably buy some candles and plants too as the temptation always get me when shopping there Hmm

Then it’s an easy night for tea as we are off to friends tonight for food and a get together with a few of us and all the kids to catch up and have a few drinks.
Can’t wait to not have to cook tonight. I’m hosted out and need the break before it starts again!

JaneJeffer · 29/12/2018 12:50

Sitting on the sofa watching footie and thinking about all the housework I should be doing.

Starlight90 · 29/12/2018 12:53

Im beginning to feel human again after an awful Christmas 🤢🤮. Having a bit of a clean and since its jyst me and DD who is stuck to the PS4, we are off to the local garden centre for a cuppa and cake. Just for some fresh air if nothing else.

MillieMoodle · 29/12/2018 12:55

Lazy morning pottering round the house while DC played with Christmas presents. Been to toy shop and Tesco. Bought a notebook and coloured pens as going to start a bullet journal this year, which I hope will help me to become more organised. Taking DS1 to the cinema to see Bumblebee this afternoon, which I am more excited about that he is I think!

BadlyAgedMemes · 29/12/2018 13:11

I'm trying to get back to normal after a week of being very lazy and eating lots of crap. Wrote a healthy shopping list, and was going to head out to get groceries, when found out that the supermarket is closed because of a power outage. So it's another day eating random bits that we overbought for Christmas, I guess.

Going to go out for a walk soon, though, and hoping to get the yoga mat out later... No other plans per se, but there's a few books waiting for me by the bed that I can't wait to get back to tonight. It's a wild, exciting life...

IndigoSpritz · 29/12/2018 13:22

Food shopping at Morrisons then coffee at Wetherspoon. Washing drying (hopefully) outside. Just had some lunch and bought some Mignon chocolate wafers on Amazon. Listening to Pick Of The Pops. Need to prepare nosh for next three days back at work and do the washing up. Will try to watch the Indiana Jones film later.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 29/12/2018 13:33

DH - food shop, sorting and labelling his homemade jellies and marmelades, cooking.
DS - as always - doing somthing on his PC while listening to a Derek Landy book.
DD - taking a break from revising
DCcat - found a new place to sleep in the carton box I wanted to sort my papers into
Me - renaming and sorting scanned files while listeing to a book (can't sort my papers now)

HashTagLil · 29/12/2018 13:35

Nothing. It's been a ridiculous week at work (NHS) and I plan on staying on the sofa under a fleece throw, with my laptop and coffee.

HashTagLil · 29/12/2018 13:38

DH is taking the cardboard to the tip and my car to be washed.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 29/12/2018 13:38

Threw a party last night. Paying for it with the mother of all hangovers. And a child with noro.

MerryChristmasArthur · 29/12/2018 13:45

Housework, like I do everyday.

HoosierDaddy · 29/12/2018 13:45

Still in my pjs, going to get showered and ready to go out to shops soon. 5 more minutes....
