It's the festive period where the days just merge...I had to look at a calendar to see that it was Saturday.
Today I'm trying to get us back into some kind of routine so, pancakes for breakfast and washing machine on.
We have tickets to the theatre later to break the day up. What is everyone else up to?

Did a hot yoga class earlier and dh took the kids out for a hurling blitz they are gone since 10am. Came home, tidied around had a bowl of Greek yogurt, berries and granola and just polished of a big plate of cheese and crackers. Will bring dog out for a walk later and going to do a spag bol for dinner later.

Just cooked some very beige snacks Blush
Need to put my bedding in the wash AGAIN. I only changed it 2 days ago but my toddler creeped in at 3am and her nappy leaked everywhere.
Said toddler is currently playing her keyboard and singing into her microphone (very loudly)

Need to do some general housework too. Day indoors today and so needed, I feel exhausted.

Did a small food shop earlier

Popped to the park to try out new scooters and blow off some cob webs

Middle DD has had two meltdowns today already, I’m fucking exhausted and so is she. Eldest and toddler DD also upset from the violent outburst and ear bursting screaming.

So the rest of the day will be a TV/book reading day whilst I download files for revising for my exams in mid January.

Cleaning, its all I have done since Christmas day. The kids just keep trashing the house and dh has worked 10am till 11pm every day.
Im also doing the washing.

I should be doing 2x essays for.my nursing degree but have no time inbetween the cleaning and mumsnetting. 😂

Debating whether to take the tree down.
I want to do a full sort out after the chaos of Christmas.
The days are all muddled.
I feel like today should be Wednesday for some reason!

Nothing.. partner is on PS4, son is on his tablet, daughter is in bed, probably should be doing something more productive but I can't be arsed

DD2 started the morning by throwing up all over the dining room and I am feeling distinctly queasy so The DDs and I are spending the day in my bed watching CBeebies on iplayer with ice lollies and a sick bucket.

dementedma · 29/12/2018 15:21

drove back home today from Durham after a sea glass hunting expedition. Bollocked DD and DS for leaving the house like a shit hole! Took cardboard to the dump, bought some veggies at knockdown prices for dinner, did a load of washing and hung it out and went for a brisk 6k walk . Now showered and contemplating taking down the Christmas cards.

An hour was a touch optimistic! Dd2's bedroom is now sorted though...until it turns into a pigsty again Xmas Hmm. One bag of outgrown clothes to go, one small bag of rubbish and recycling.

May do under dd1's bed tomorrow instead now. Still want to shove the hoover round dd2's room & her bears need somewhere to live. They look very sorry for themselves stuffed down the side of her drawers in a higgldey pile.

Number one priority now is cheese though, I've worked up quite an appetite!
