I can confirm there were dogs in the river at Bourton on the Water - they looked a bit chilly, and the ducks didn't bat an eyelid.

Tried to catch one in a photo, but couldn't get past the tourists in time.

Happy boxing day folks..

I can't see any dogs?

ILoveChristmasLights · 26/12/2018 15:14

...and?

XmasPostmanBos · 26/12/2018 15:18

I can confirm there were dogs at my local garden centre this morning. I stroked one and it seemed to like it, but then it barked at a passing miniature dachshund.

Heuschrecke · 26/12/2018 15:19

I don't understand

BeeFarseer · 26/12/2018 15:20

I don't understand this either.

Hayles88 · 26/12/2018 15:20

Soubriquet · 26/12/2018 15:25

They have just had a mad minute and bounced off my head Hmm

chemenger · 26/12/2018 15:27

I can confirm that there are no dogs in my garden.

topcat2014 · 26/12/2018 15:28

There was a Q a couple of days back, asking if dogs were "allowed" in th river at Bourton.

Sorry for being too cryptic :)

I can confirm that ds often paddles in the river at Bourton and I have photographic evidence.

Heuschrecke · 26/12/2018 15:30

Ah - perhaps you should have posted on the original thread then www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3455838-Are-dogs-allowed-in-the-stream-at-bourton-on-the-water?

Aardvarkitsabloodyaardvark · 26/12/2018 15:30

fatoneatthegym · 26/12/2018 15:31

I can confirm that cats are better than dogs.

HeronLanyon · 26/12/2018 15:33

I confirm absence of 3 dogs (mixed breed) in my flat. Phew thought I’d never be asked !!

missyB1 · 26/12/2018 15:33

fatone how very dare you?! Grin

chemenger · 26/12/2018 15:36

The dogs that are confirmed as not in my garden are Irish wolfhounds.

NicoAndTheNiners · 26/12/2018 15:37

I can confirm there are big fuck off fish with teeth in that river. One bit me when I was a kid and left tooth marks and I was bleeding.

topcat2014 · 26/12/2018 15:38

@Heuschrecke, I suppose so !!

What I really need to do is spend less time on here...

chemenger - I was wondering ! Thanks.

brizzledrizzle · 26/12/2018 15:42

Do the dachshunds in the river at Bourton get given snorkels?

chemenger · 26/12/2018 15:43

I’m quite sad that they aren’t there because they are my favourite dogs.

Theoryofmould · 26/12/2018 15:43

😂 at the other thread calling it a stream. I know of lots of places along the River Windrush that dogs frolic in. Most of them are not in town though.
