I don't get hangovers, I don't drink alcohol.

Chickenfillets · 26/12/2018 10:47

That helps, thanks.

I always found Fanta orange the best, apparently it's a known hangover drink, also sleep, shower and macdonalds Grin

Holidayshopping · 26/12/2018 10:48

Have a shower or a bath, something to drink and a couple of painkillers, then try to get a bit more sleep. Some carby food later on.

Sallygoroundthemoon · 26/12/2018 10:48

Sips of water, some ibuprofen and when you can manage it, some full fat coke, toast and a bath. Hope you feel better soon.
@2019mummy. Don't be so sanctimonious.

WWYDhelpplease · 26/12/2018 10:48

Oh fuck off 2019.

Can you get some carbs in you OP? Some coke too and pain killers.

Then a shower to freshen up.

FissionChips · 26/12/2018 10:49

Pint of water, Anadin, something greasy to eat (or breakfast pizza) and a nap.

Paddybare · 26/12/2018 10:49

Something sugary always helps me, a sugary tea or coke or something like that. Then try to eat something as soon as you can, whatever you fancy/can stomach the most. Good luck!

TooTrueToBeGood · 26/12/2018 10:49

Drink water. Plenty of it, little and often.

Thisnamechanger · 26/12/2018 10:50

Fat coke, shag, shower, cheese and crackers

IJustLostTheGame · 26/12/2018 10:52

A can of full fat coke
Anything with eggs in
Sardines on toast
A meal with soy sauce in.
A bath

x2boys · 26/12/2018 10:53

Chickenfillets · 26/12/2018 10:54

Just sent my lovely Dp out to pick me a McDonald's up. Is it acceptable to shower sitting down 😁

OP posts:
Itwillgeteasieripromise · 26/12/2018 10:55

Shower hot as you can manage, wash your hair, blast of cold water at the end. Brush your teeth to within an inch of their life - floss. Get fluid down you, BCAA's/amino acids are ideal or full sugar soft drink. Get moving, walk outside it will help to get the blood moving !
Eat what ever you fancy or can stomach. If you know any medics .... a drip would save your life, however a bit extreme !!
Good luck OP we've all been there ...

ScreamingBadSanta · 26/12/2018 10:56

Ginger, if you have any - ginger biscuits, ginger beer, ginger bread. It works wonders.

Also second a bath or shower, as hot as you can stand.

Pineapple462 · 26/12/2018 10:56

A banana and a Buck’s Fizz!! Worked for me yesterday morning Xmas Grin

ScreamingBadSanta · 26/12/2018 10:56

Of course you can shower sitting down!

ffiffi8 · 26/12/2018 10:57

x2boys · 26/12/2018 10:57

Katedotness1963 · 26/12/2018 11:02

MacDonalds
Back to sleep
Shower

killjulia · 26/12/2018 11:13

I knew as soon as I opened this thread that there would be some thick cunt replying as 2019Mummy did. MN never lets you down Grin

Try coke and something greasy. Hash browns are my go to after I've had my single sherry of the year. Xmas Wink

ChoudeBruxelles · 26/12/2018 11:13

Ibruprofen, Diet Coke and salt and vinegar crisps and then go back to sleep

redsummershoes · 26/12/2018 11:16

as much water as you can manage, go for a walk or run (to get your body to metabolise faster) and normal food.

Moonflower12 · 26/12/2018 11:16

Lots of carbs.

Hair if the dog? Was so hungover at my brothers that I was sick 9 times. He got me to have a tiny glass of cava and miraculously 20 minutes later I was absolutely fine!

ThereWillBeAdequateFood · 26/12/2018 11:19

Hair of the dog does work.

Bless your husband for getting you a McDs
