A turkey, no less than a dog or a human with its legs in the air, must of necessity be lying on its back. The bird has its legs in the air, the bird has its breast side up.

I can't work out from the photo what side is up either! If it's any consolation, and it was breast side down, a lot of people recommend cooking like that at first so that the breasts are juicy....

Why is your turkey upside down?

I meant to do breast side down and then turn it up the other way. The photo is the other way.
So I think I'm finishing it off upside down now, but I don't really know. I might turn it one more time for luck!
