Bad thing: struggling with depression all year.
Good thing: my ds doing brilliantly in every way.

Crap thing - had to PTS my darling old cat at the age of 19.
Good thing - my elderly mum was seriously ill last summer but is doing well now.

Good - Currently expecting first child via IVF
Bad - DFIL diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

My mother's cancer was treated successfully
My father's can't be

Bad: i had postnatal depression
Good: its over now, and im pregnant again. Can't believe how miserable i was last christmas and how deeply contented i feel this time round

Bad thing - maternity discrimination at work. Unresolved, and getting worse. Looking at leaving in the new year.

Good thing - DS and DH are both wonderful. I've gone part time in my shitty job and get to spend a lot more time with them.

Good thing dd2 was born in January oh and a new house (please can I have two good!?)
Bad thing PTS cat but he was 21 and had had an amazing 8 years with us, doing as he pleased and generally ruling the house!

Crap thing, loads. Mainly relative dying in next day or so
Good thing, children started a new school in January, major upheaval and they have settled in brilliantly. Like they were never anywhere else

Lost my darling sister to brain tumours in February

Got my first grandchild - a source of utter joy - in March

Good thing: I restarted my hobby of dance again and it's made me so happy
Bad thing: had very bad depression at the beginning of the year triggered of by some dick who had messed with my head for 3/4 of the year! Finally over him and alot happier now.

Bad thing, Mum passed away.

Good thing, I was able to spend lots of time with her.

I’m so sorry for the lows but grateful for the highs for you all.

So many things going on in people’s lives - I don’t think many people have it easy per say.

Bad - miscarried a much wanted baby after 3rd round of ivf / 6th transfer

Good - I've realised who my true friends are

Bad: FIL died :(
Good: Not much, but 2019 is around the corner and I'm hopeful for a brighter tomorrow :)

I honestly can't think of a particularly good thing or a particularly bad thing...it was just so meh!

Bad thing - my anxiety reaching an all time high due to me pushing myself to do something I really wasn't ready to do.

God thing - my DS is doing brilliantly in all aspects and DDog is finally on the mend after a trying year and several operations.

Crap thing, DH's treatment for cancer was stopped

Good thing my little business which I started inspired by a thread on here had really taken off this year

Bad: almost died

Good: my favourite Chinese has kept a dish on the menu they were going to remove just for me!

Good thing got a new job I love and working towards a qualication
Bad thing my parents health decline
