Selfish. I had a nasty but brief bout of diarrhoea in the early hours of Sunday. I thought I was dying - never sweated and shivered so much in my life. Consequently, I stayed off work today and am in self-imposed quarantine for the next nine hours or so, ie until 48 hours has passed. I can't even go out to the pub tonight because I might still be infectious. I may not be but I can't take the chance of ruining lots of Christmases. Tough and unfair but right and proper, IMO.
