How many mince pies is it acceptable to eat in one day?

During the 12 days of Christmas... an indefinite amount.

I had 4 the other day. Regretted it!
Fond memories of brownies carol services years ago when I used to put away 6 without batting an eyelid!
I love mince pies

Once you open the box they go off at midnight. So, seeing as how food waste is a horrible thing, you have to eat all 6.
Same applies to jaffa cakes.

I can't eat a whole tube of Jaffa cakes - maximum 3. Hobnobs maximum is 2.
But mince pies mmmmmm.

I had 2 for lunch. And one for pudding!

Turns out noone in the house likes them! so I'll have to eat them all myself.

Given my 9 year old can eat 3 mince pies, and he is half the size of an adult, I'd say one of those handy six single serving packets of 6 would be a daily amount if your not keen on finishing the pack in a single sitting?

Depends if they are normal/puff pastry and on the alcohol contest. aka how many can I eat before I'm either sick or pissed. Pissed being preferable ;)
