My DH has gone into town with toddler to pick something up for his (DH's) Granny.
I've just finished my cup of tea in bed, listening to background Christmas music on the echo dot. Thinking of getting up for breakfast and a shower.
Got 2 small things to wrap and a list to make of any other Christmas food we still need to buy. Think I'll change our bed too.
DH will go later to visit his grandpas grave with his family and i'll play at home with toddler (unless mil wants him to go with them)

Recovering from too much wine last night and feeling like an awful person. Quiet day today. Still got some presents to buy but that'll have to be tomorrow now. DP is barely speaking to me, so there's a bit of an atmosphere in the house. My fault though

Just had a shower, about to get ready to take DS to a birthday party.

He, along with DD, is having a sleepover at my mums tonight so that I can finish wrapping and then me and DH are heading to our local for the Christmas quiz. We will lose, but I’m looking forward to it.

DP got in early hours from working away so the bairns and I are downstairs pootling about building their playmobil advent stuff.

Not got much left to do and thankfully I don’t need to hit the shops before Tuesday so later on we’ll watch the football and I’ll finish cleaning the bedrooms.

DP is going tomorrow to pick up
Christmas dinner and then we’ve to wrap everything.

Still in bed with a cup of tea brought by dp. Planning a lazy day. Probably book somewhere for lunch later.

We are sitting in our PJs eating egg on toast.
Got a few more presents to wrap and off to PILs later for a takeaway.

I’ve been poorly for weeks but after finishing my antibiotics I feel ok 👍
Bit more wrapping to do, cleaning then off to panto with family and friends this afternoon and tonight I’m out with my best friend for festive drinks 🥂🥂

I've got a slurp of coffee left in my cup. When that's gone, in a mo, I'll make a fresh one & crack on with a quick clean and mop of the kitchen and living room so they're presentable for folks who are popping in over the course of tomorrow & the girls' Nanna who will come round for a couple of hours on Christmas day.

Other than that, maybe a wander to Lidl if the rain ever stops. & possibly transfer stuff over into my new diary.

Christmas is mostly done here so will be a fairly steady day

Not much. Currently bf ds3 whilst listening to Christmas music. Ds1 and 2 are playing minecraft and Dh is in the shower after getting soaked at his voluntary work this morning.
Awful weather so staying home. Going to bake Christmas cookies later and watch the grinch. Once DC are in bed, I need to wrap presents.

DS is still in bed,
DD was up at seven doing maths and preparing for her tutor to come in,
DCat was up at 4:29 - so I was up, too - for food and belly rubs. I have finished the cleaning I meant to do yesterday and am now having a break.

Peppermint bark to make, house to clean and party food to get on with. Dh sorting out an issue with car and then picking up various relatives for said party. Excited!

I'm really fucking bored today. Sod all on TV, the weather is crap, toddler is grumpy, and I've still got no energy to do sod all. I think it is sugar withdrawal as I've cut down on a lot of sugar these last couple of days!

I'm going to visit a friend in hospital then finish wrapping. Tonight we're having our family Christmas evening with a film, snacks and a take away!

We spent the morning packing up the car to go off to a holiday rental for a few days.

DH is now out getting a few bits at the shop. DC are playing on the Wii. I’ve just had a toastie and a glass of wine for lunch .

Planning to head out on the road in the next hour or so (DH driving!). We’ll have fish & chips for dinner when we get to our rentak, and then an early night.

Really excited about Christmas now 🎄

In the city today having a wonder round the shops it's absoloutly empty currently people watching with a krispy creme doughnut and coffee :-)

Squeezing pus out of poorly cats ear! Then I'm going to lie down and put plasters on all my scratches :) and wait for Christmas. ...

PIL are heading over and DS is currently having a nap. Weather is awful here, went out for lunch and everywhere was heaving so I'm dreading tomorrow's Christmas shop. I feel tired and drained - had an argument with DH this morning about my autism diagnosis and just want to hide.

DP is working so I'm looking after 3 kids, doing the last of the Xmas bits (wrapping, tidying, washing, baking a cake)

All with a stonking hangover as I went out last night

Had a slow start this morning. Dropped DD to work, did a little bit of grocery shopping, tidied the house & gave the dog a bath after she dug a massive hole in the garden and was covered in muck. DH finished up at work today so will be home shortly.
Have all presents wrapped, just need to sort out food. DD had a horrible virus all week which I think I’m getting now. Going out for a meal tomorrow so really it’s just Christmas Day & Boxing Day to think about. All in all no major stress.

Cleaned the house, cooked a light dinner and tried Heston's chocolate and sour cherry mince pies with some wine

Walked the dog, mopped floors, bathed the cat, and now having had lunch am cuddling the cat!

Just eaten a quesadilla for lunch; cheese, sriracha and rocket (v.g.)

Previously had wrapped DH's presents because he'd popped out for a bit and I made the cranberry sauce.

Now watching Gremlins with DS2 while I try to get the hwyl together for some more of the fifteen million (approx.) other jobs I have to do...

I've wrapped DH's presents and been for a run. Then been to the garden centre for actual garden things. That area was deserted although the Christmas displays and farm shop seemed packed.

Just about to do an hour or so in the garden as it will be open to the public in February (three openings a year) so needs to be tidier than now.

Will decide this evening what we're eating on Tuesday and make a list for tomorrow. Feeling very chilled about Christmas, it's not a big deal in our house.

At my mums for lunch and dd needed a nap so I'm currently lying on the bed in the spare room with her while she sleeps.

This afternoon we'll go home and I'll do some cooking prep for tomorrow lunch then will probably watch a film and drink some wine with dh when dd is in bed.

Went to the gym this morning. Just back from Costa where I tried the hazelnut praline latte.

Popped into Tesco for last minute bits. Place was rammed. Currently lounging on the couch about to do a jigsaw on my iPad.

We were supposed to visit relatives, but it got cancelled, so now we have a day of no plans. Had a nap with DH and just got some lunch.

Vague ideas to do some tidying and to change the sheets. I might even do a bit of baking. For now I'm just nursing a mug of tea and feeling a bit woozy from painkillers.
