My DH has gone into town with toddler to pick something up for his (DH's) Granny.
I've just finished my cup of tea in bed, listening to background Christmas music on the echo dot. Thinking of getting up for breakfast and a shower.
Got 2 small things to wrap and a list to make of any other Christmas food we still need to buy. Think I'll change our bed too.
DH will go later to visit his grandpas grave with his family and i'll play at home with toddler (unless mil wants him to go with them)

Just got out of the shower after a morning of cleaning like a mad woman because the house looked like a war zone.

Going out for tea at five with ds dp and the in laws. Not particularly looking forward to it tbh. Mil is not a pleasant woman and we're there on Christmas day too. Still dp and ds want to see sil and she's lovely. I'll just sit as far away from mil as I can!

Im sat here just joining this site today not as a new mum, but an old one LOL. what the heck does DD DH all these abreviations mean, finding it hard to follow some conversations LOL, thats it see old bird LOL.
Given some thought and useful answer's to a few questions, well anyway wishing you all Merry Christmas, whoever you are, and wherever you might be, ME, sat here typing listening to christmas songs, generally chilling, had a lot of CHRISTMASES TO PREPARE FOR LOL, dont get panicked anymore, disasters are part of the fun of it, and over the years, sat here thinking and smiling to myself, Ive Had A Few. Merry Christmas All.

I have the most awful cold and quite frankly feel like utter shit! But I've got to go to work in an hour (retail) and am supposed to be there until midnight. I'm not sure I'll last that long though.
Dp is out doing last minute shopping bits as I have zero energy. Still need to go food shopping at some point and wrap presents.
Am really hoping I feel a bit better tomorrow. I've got too much to do to be ill!

I was at the gym very early this morning making up for the excess of alcohol last night. And the night before.
Didn’t last very long before I sloped off to the spa
Then went from there to the shops to pick up the last few things I needed and had some lunch.
Picked up dd1 from the station on my way home.
Dp and dd2 have made profiteroles, the sauces and the stock for the gravy, put the pulled pork in the oven and are now making the other pudding.
Ds is out at the cinema with my parents.
Going out for drinks shortly with our next door neighbours. I will be on something soft!!
Then home to wrap and change the bedding. Big food shop is coming at 8.

Cup of tea, fire is lit and Brief Encounter in the TV.

I'm enjoying some quiet MNetting time on my bed with the cat whilst OH and the kids watch Home Alone.

We're off to a local friends drinks and mince pies party at about 4pm with the kids so that should be jolly.

Then home and an earlyish night (hopefully). OH is still recovering from being hideously hungover and vomitus for most of yesterday

Reading the papers. Eating peanuts.
Making a chilli later.
Nothing else to do....

Unpacked the Ocado order, finally wrapped the last present and now sat with dye on hair and mask on face having a browse on my phone. When so get out of the shower at approximately 4pm so will finally have finished my entire pre-Christmas to do list that I’ve been working on since October! Definitely time for

I worked last night, got home late, had a nap.
A friend is coming round soon, so I tidied up the living room.
DH announced he was going to town DC told me they hadn't got me a Christmas present yet (they are too young to go shopping) which answered the question why on earth would DH do that now.
I am working 13hrs tomorrow, need to be up before 6am and have slept very little this week with night shifts and ill DC, but have to finish all the wrapping before I can go to bed. Also, need to pack as we are going to my parents straight after work tomorrow, cook dinner, wash the DC's hair (always very traumatic) and persuade over-excited DC who didn't wake up until after 8.30am (never ever lie in when I am at home in the morning) to go to sleep

I've been for a long walk with dogs, cooked pancakes for DDs, cleaned the house, had a sandwich and a wander at garden centre, am currently relaxing with DDs and DH before walking dogs again. DS and his GF will arrive then we're celebrating a birthday at a pub and having an curry. I'll have all 3 DCs at home til Boxing Day and that makes me very happy.

Went for a run with DH this morning. DH took DC to bottle bank and to shop for last minute gifts while I wrapped presents. Cooked a lasagne to take to my MIL for Xmas eve dinner. Currently dyeing hair - made much more festive by being passed a glass of red by DH.

Went to the Christingle this morning with DM and the DC.

Came home and bunged some pizza & sausage rolls in the oven - had them with salad.
DH and DC went to his parents.
I went to work, where I am now until midnight.
