I mean think we’re equal, great, don’t objectify usnor take advantage of us. Just thoroughly like us as a sex.

For me, I get good vibes from Jason Momoa, George Clooney, Andrew Lincoln and the guy who plays Black Panther.

It is more men than not I think. There are loads of you think about it but they're not famous enough to immediately spring to mind or to have said or done as much in the public eye to make it obvious what they're like.

I don't think an age gap relationship is an indicator of anything either. Unless it's someone obviously trading in their partner or wife for someone else because they're younger. An age difference by itself between two single, consenting adults means nothing.

*if you

KittenEsque · 23/12/2018 13:00

Aaron Taylor-Johnston

Chrus Evans and Andy Murray already mentioned.

KittenEsque · 23/12/2018 13:00

*Chris Evans

Harry Styles. Always speaks so respectfully of his female fans and women in general and gave a lot of money to the Time's Up movement without drawing attention to it himself.

I think his womaniser image was a bit of a marketing ploy by his 1D managers.

Redcrayons · 23/12/2018 13:09

Andy Murray is fab. Actively calls out sexism and is nice to his mum (v important). They, and Jamie M, seem that have a lovely supportive and playful relationship.
Adam Hills
Don't know much about Keanu Reeves these days, but my teenage self is pleased to hear he's a good un.

Not Frankie Boyle, he made some awful jokes about Katie Price's son.

FrankieChips · 23/12/2018 13:13

I met Ed O’Brien from Radiohead and from my experience he was an absolute gem. I was a nervous fan twittering on about seeing Radiohead and he talked to me like I was a friend and made me feel at ease. We were chatting so long I actually had to excuse myself. He is lovely.

WardrobeInCrisis · 23/12/2018 13:19

Teen Dd met Bear Grylls and got good vibes of equality from him.

zippey · 23/12/2018 13:20

Most men (celebritry) like women. Though NAMALT.

ButtMuncher · 23/12/2018 13:30

Coming on to repeat Benedict Cumberbatch. Has always participated and been active in feminist campaigns and seems to genuinely adore both significant exes. I'd be horrified if anything came out about him being a pig Grin

Another shout for Chris Evans. Just get a lovely, liberal vibe from him which extends to the treatment of women.

papayasareyum · 23/12/2018 13:34

Mark Kermode

AloneInMyHead · 23/12/2018 14:31

basically we're looking for a male who's never done or said anything dumb wrt women and doesn't give out weird vibes.

😂 I am surprised that any male on the planet is on 'the list'. Perfection is expected. Of course there are some men that are just Marxist bastards, rapists etc but and of the reasons for men being off the list are ridiculous. I wonder how many women would be on the women's equivalent list with such high standards. A woman that has never dated a younger man, never made a comment about a mans looks etc. I believe most men respect women.

AloneInMyHead · 23/12/2018 14:31

Marxist = sexist

SilverySurfer · 23/12/2018 14:56

This thread is bizarre. Unless you know these people how can you possibly assume anything about them?

treaclesoda · 23/12/2018 15:02

I don't expect perfection, but I expect a level of decency.

A man remarking that he finds a woman beautiful doesn't bother me at all. Even saying he finds her sexy or attractive doesn't bother me. We all have eyes and opinions. But a man judging a woman's worth on her looks bothers me a lot.

HelloToJasonIsaacs · 23/12/2018 15:05

The thread title is “do you feel”.

And in some cases I think you can have a solid idea. Andy Murray has a long history of expressing respect for the achievements of sportswomen and female coaches in his words and actions, Kermode and Mayo have been consistent in their promotion of women’s work and condemnation of objectification of women over decades. If men have always said the right thing and there’s no evidence that they have mistreated women in their private lives then it seems fair enough to assume for now that they’re Team Good Guy.

noodlenosefraggle · 23/12/2018 15:09

aloneinmyhead I only read your second comment and thought you were saying all Marxists are sexist Grin

DarlingNikita · 23/12/2018 15:10

Andy Murray is the star of this show IMO. The only one of all the famous men players who calls out journalists about their attitude towards women players.

Also Samuel West. Posts on Twitter very thoughtfully/angrily/as appropriate about misogyny and women's issues. He has two small daughters and comes across as very aware of the issues they face and of how to parent them.

MrsTerryPratcett · 23/12/2018 15:18

Trevor Noah made a joke about fucking white women being like riding a unicorn. Gross.

Ed Sheeran wrote that whiney song about how a woman he was having a casual thing with, no strings, wasn't allowed to shag someone else. He also wrote that questionable Justin Bieber song.

And Justin Trudeau is only a feminist when women agree with him. He's in it for the cookies.

Corcra · 23/12/2018 15:22

I missed a few pages but I always like Eddie Vedder and Will Ferrell and think they treat everyone the same and have heard it from people who have met and worked with both.

ghostyslovesheets · 23/12/2018 15:25

Kevin Smith

AloneInMyHead · 23/12/2018 15:27

MrsTerryPratcett

Which Ed and Justin songs ?

MrsTerryPratcett · 23/12/2018 15:27

Kevin Smith has said some really dodgy things about underage girls.

MrsTerryPratcett · 23/12/2018 15:31

Alone the songs are Don't and Love Yourself.

noodlenosefraggle · 23/12/2018 15:32

liostick any site that published a story about Prince Charles and Megan Markle joining forces to kill The Queen needs to be taken with an ocean of salt Grin Not saying none of what they say is true, but they publish clickbait. They don't care what the sources are, so any random fan fiction writer/mischief maker/agent with an axe to grind can shove any old rubbish on there!
